SORCERER
Four criminals hiding out forever in a very poor village in Columbia (played by the Dominican Republic) agree to do a job driving extreme explosives through the jungle so that they can make enough money to go hide out in a less impoverished town. It takes its time getting to the whole truck driving situation but once it does get there, woah. It really feels like these actors are on the brink of death most of the journey! Guess I'll never complain about driving a Uhaul again.
GRADE: A-
Star Trek: The Next Generation - "Relics"
The Enterprise finds a Dyson Sphere with a crashed ship on it, and inside the crashed ship they find one Captain Montgomery "Scotty" Scott! The episode writes everybody a bit off character to make a point about feeling useless with age. The Enterprise-D crew come off as cruel and aloof towards Scotty but the dude's a legend - you're telling me he wouldn't be swarmed with ensigns the second he walked into Ten Forward? I also think a Dyson Sphere is a silly concept - what sort of incredible expenditure of resources would it take to construct, all so that they can use all of the sun's radiant energy? How many millions of years would it take to even out the cost/benefit on that?

Alexander Singer’s cameo in Stanley Kubrick’s Day of the Fight. The woman behind him is his wife Judy. Singer was Kubrick’s high school friend, operating second camera in Day of the Fight, and credited as Still Photographer in Killer’s Kiss, Associate Producer in The Killing. Later he had a directorial career himself.
