A New Friend (Part 1?)
Throughout her journey, the Spider has come across many places of interest, one being a burnt-down theatre. She took shelter, as it was a rainy night. West Virginia isn’t merciful went it comes to its downpours. Upon entering, she soon found that an elderly man had already taken ownership of the place. She was about to leave, but he insisted that she was welcome, as he usually never comes across travelers or guests.
Although the Spider wasn’t too keen on making small talk, she eventually opened up to the old man, telling her story and how she is now a vagabond, traveling and killing targets for easy cash. They reconciled with each other, knowing the pain the Cold War brought them and how fate was cruel, taking away what they most cherished.
When the rain stopped, the Spider once again set afoot, but she would return many times to the old building, knowing she was a welcome guest in the open arms of Alexander Willow. A friend.
