alot of people also bring adrian up in the conversation to say that rocky would be cheating if anything happened, but he has said several times that they dont even know if adrian would still want to be mates because of how they left and how long they had been apart. its also another thing with the moral high ground. sure, rocky definitely loves adrian, but they have also been alone in space with their dead friends for longer than grace has even been alive. grace is the only other living thing around and they would have been stuck together for years. theyre already canonically very codependent and intimate with each other, not much would really even change.

To me the ideal gracerocky dynamic is Grace only really feels pleasure during their sex in a "successful experiment" kind of way. like his level of romantic and sexual desire could fit inside a penny but he's having decent fun.
