secretly loves and collects those kitten paintings from around the commonwealth but doesnt hang any bc theyre “unmanly”

alex is limited in his explorations bc he cant pick difficult locks or computers

so i wonder if i should save full map exploration for my next playthrough as female lancelot –

but alex is SO HAPPY to have Preston around again it’s hard to leave his game

I guess I can always come back to it...

alex had no intention of hanging out with maccready or cait but after the awfulness of deacon he lowered his companion standards like trying to get a bad taste out of his mouth 

also cait was much lower before that bc she was a chem addict. she eventually overtakes maccready in this ranking because alex is just a sucker who warms up to girls esp after hearding their stories - but that just recently happened so thats why i listed them out of order

...he almost warmed up to piper and was going to invite her to travel (after that confrontation scenario) but she was ‘too busy to talk’ to him so he figured its mostly fate they never hang out 

he wasnt even gonna spend time with nick but after nick saw his memories he felt like theyd sort of bonded so he sort of gave him a longer chance than hed intended before that

oh and he never romanced any companions though he feels a deep platonic love for preston. if cait had hit on him [later on; after theyd done her quest] he would have been down. but i guess its the nature of companions that they cant and shes not someone with whom hed ever make the first move

and if he could choose someone to hang with IT WOULD BE GLORY and i think she could easily have overcome nick and maybe even dogmeat
