We got more information once you re-submitted Xia’s application, so we now know a lot more about her. Combined with the discussions we’ve had on this bean of a child, I think it’s safe to say that she’s definitely accepted now. There’s obviously room to grow, but this is the case for all of us! We get that bios are hard. I love how she’s the daughter of a chef and loves to cook - I’m sure New Athens needs some people who know how to prepare actual food now that all the demigods are streaming back in.  It’s going to be fun to see this one nag the Underworld kids, and we’ll finally have her on the dash.

Alexia Adams is a 18 year old, turning 19, born in London, England.

Claimed, daughter of Persephone

Where are you currently based? Are you attending a Camp (Half-Blood / Jupiter), or are you living full-time in New Athens / New Rome? Is it a combination of both?

She just moved into New Athens after the call back, and currently a waitress for the athena café.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? ( If you’re applying for a canon character, are you diverging from book-canon? If so, how?)

Alexia grew up in the upper side of london, as the daughter of a chef. Meaning that sadly her father wasn’t there a lot. But when he was he made the most out of the time he had with her, often reading her classic books or watching movies together. he was the one who taught her how to cook and they would make food together and they would be close, and she would look up to him and admire his passion for food and it’s ingredients. Yet she always would ask where her mother was, why she isn’t here, why can’t she remember her and why her father never talks about her. It didn’t bother her when she was younger, but as she got older and noticed everyone around her with both parents it started to feel strange and she felt different. and a little bit as an outcast.

The feeling wouldn’t leave her, it would hang over her like a cloud, a feeling that she would hide away, but always knowing where it was. But she keeps busy, her hands always working, always distracted from what’s really there. always cooking, always working. for she trusts not her own mind. she cannot rest, and be alone with the voices inside her own head. busy and distracted, trumps the quiet isolation of reality. the quiet truth of her mind.

but she’ll be fine, it’ll go away. that’s what she keeps telling herself. I’ll be fine.

What were you doing prior to The Recall?

“ Madrid actually. My dad ---- he opened a restaurant there and i went there to help him out. And yeah business is going well, dad is happy, i think we might struggle getting him back home now that the weather is warming up ”   a light chuckle escaped her lips.   “ but yeah, i was there got my gap year and i was going to study in ------- or hoped to at least. It doesn’t matter anymore, i’m here now and that’s all that matters. ”

SHOWTIME!

Hunted. They’re being hunted. For so long their existence had been a secret. For so long they have tried to blend in, to be normal. Normal, what is normal? Is it normal to be the pawn of the gods? To have no say in one’s own fate?

No.

That’s her normal. Their normal. The normal of the demigods, the children of Olympus. The blessed cursed.

Seconds lead to minutes that lead to an eternity. Eternity feels like dread, and it feels her, chokes her, drains the life from her body. She feels the fear rise, tomorrow becoming more and more uncertain. They’re hunting us. We need to hide. But where?

Alexia didn’t know where she could hide. Too old for her camp and not Roman enough for San Francisco, where could she go? Where do unclaimed demigods hide? Children that are being hunted by creatures of the Underworld, creatures of hell, the government–where do they hide?

Her thumb rubs against the golden surface, a silent prayer spoken in a hush; colours appear. Lilac, rogue, daffodil and more. They glisten so beautifully in the light, their image reflecting upon the silhouette of a boy–no, a young man. The boy she she knew so well had grown; he’d flourished into a young man of twenty. A man of honour and duty, a man who had the answers.

“I’m coming home.”
