American here. You don't believe people use Sprite?

I do believe it, I don’t mean to make it sound like it’s wild or anything. Just it doesn’t happen here, we use carbonated lemonade - sprite as a mixer is unheard of but if you don’t have carbonated lemonade then it’s obviously what you would use.
