Alfea Interior - Library
So, I was at the Alfea library...
Dub (v.) | To provide a motion picture with a soundtrack/script in a different language from the original, so viewers can experience a foreign production in their native language (not to be confused with sub, which is the addition of translated script in the form of text at the bottom of the screen) So. It's the Rai dub (done by a company called Cinélume) and the Nickelodeon re-make. So, um, please stop calling the Nickelodeon version a dub. It's not.
Edit (Aug 22nd, 2012): No, I wasn't referring to the specials: I'm unhappy with those but am aware Iginio Straffi directed them. I meant Seasons 3 and 4. Nick did not translate the Italian -- Straffi hired a company called Cinélume to do that years ago when the seasons were first broadcasted and included "English" as one of the audio options on the original DVDs. Nick has re-written the script to make it more "American", staying true to the general idea but changing others. Nick didn't translate it; they bought and re-wrote the show to "Americanize" it, just like 4Kids did. Nick admittedly didn't change as much though; the 4Kids re-make was pathetically far-fetched. It wasn't even the same show.
