this probably won’t be very helpful bc it’s so vague but this has been the general idea!

and then i’ve been taking it pretty slow by adding a center piece (like a store or a house) and then decorating its surroundings with little stuff. the only big area i made entirely was that bigger spring island because i wanted a picnic table in the middle of an open meadow
