For a long time, the Algae cafe remained just a concept, and now it has finally come to life! The Algae slime lore has also been slightly updated.

Percy - 12lvl

Composition: hunter, pink, puddle, honey, angler, quicksilver, flutter, tangle, golden, dervish, mosaic, algae

● That one level 6 hunter who was found by the Lord during the evacuation near the Singing Gate and rescued by Quill and Keid. Due to the events she experienced, she associated water with a sense of security, and for most of her life, her profession was associated with design and maintenance of the dome's water supply system. ● She was the first to display the secret algae slime style. At first, this became a problem, since the normal green algae barely took root in the body, and this did not allow for full photosynthetic and underwater breathing. Fortunately, through the collective efforts of botanists and doctors of the community, it was possible to find out that there is a subspecies of algae that is much more compatible with the secret style, and that it is enough to simply eat it to make it your symbiont. ● Percy came up with the idea for Algae Cafe, made it happen, and currently is the manager of the establishment. She does various paperwork (ordering products, compiling reports, or recruiting staff), but often goes out into the hall to the customers to get first-hand feedback. She prefers not to put off tasks for later and is responsible for her duties. ● She is in partnership with the Echo Café, sharing experiences and stories with Ren. She is close with the slimes that live there, often hanging out with them outside of work. Thea considers Percy her best friend and often takes her out to get some air from all the paperwork she occasionally buries herself in. ● Percy is extremely caring towards those dear to her, and can sometimes even be overprotective.

Emerald

● Percy's former ward, who recently reached level 9. ● Quiet and a little shy, but he perks up and starts chatting non-stop when the conversation turns to something he has a passion for. ● He is deeply interested in the study of aquatic plants and intends to immerse himself in a related profession.

Meet Mojito - His Majesty's butler, the first who decided to test the properties of a new specie, allowing them to fully manifest themselves (and stood very glad with the result, because slimes love everything new and unusual). Algae are not only very demanding of external conditions, but also actively creates them itself, dominating other species. The fire (algae die from high temperatures) and phosphorus features (does not tolerate large amounts of sunlight, which is necessary for photosynthesis) get completely suppressed. Algae also makes the carrier’s body completely transparent, so that light reaches even those plants that are deep inside, and gets rid of all surfaces that could reflect it (goodbye, golden and quicksilver decor). However, the uneven allocation of algae may hint at patterns of other absorbed species. With a high degree of probability, algae will contribute to an increase in body surface area (the carrier will grow wings and a tail, if such features are present in the species composition).

Now Mojito is a clear example of how a slime who had absorbed algae would look like, if he was 6 lvl (or younger) and not yet able to control his appearance consciously.

Usually the Slime Lake maintains the balance of the oxygen level under the dome with the help of algae, reducing or increasing their number. But sometimes it's not enough, and if there is too much algae, the Council of Elders orders to temporarily suspend all activities related to the use of fire.
