Easter weekend isn't the best time to visit Sardinia as restaurants seem to work to their own hours. On the third attempt we found the Prosciutteria Sant Miquel open, and it lived up to its online reputation. Timing was perfect to see the start of the Good Friday procession pass through Alghero old town as it wound through the narrow streets lit by red lanterns.
