Happy Halloween! 🎃 So October really sped past me but I did have a Vampire AU concept I wanted to draw with my limited time.

Details below on the story behind this AU:

In this universe, Henry was born a dhampir with a vampire father and human mother. Dhampirs can become full vampire after drinking human blood, and in high vampire society, half vampire children are assigned a human servant to devour when they "come of age".

This realization led to tension in Al's relationship with Henry as children, since he feared that he and Molly were only welcomed into the house for this purpose. Henry promised them that he never wished to become a full vampire, and wished to remain "as human as possible" until he dies.

As adults, Al would force Henry to break this promise and drink his blood when he found Henry's father dead and Henry dying after an alleged fight between the two turned violent.

So yeah, that's the concept I came up with! I'm not much of a writer but I hope you found it interesting!

Never had the chance to do a Mermay piece so I’m glad I finally had time this year! Honestly I had this design in mind for a long time!
