Alhusayn for the name thingy
Full Name: Alhusayn ibn Sentinel
Gender and Sexuality: Demisexual male
Ethnicity/Species: Forebear Redguard with Imperial heritage
Birthplace and Birthdate: The 8th of Last Seed, 4e 169, in Sentinel, Hamerfell
Phobias: Storms; drowning; the Aldmeri Dominion (more of an intense loathing than a fear, though); mind-altering magic such as illusion; vampires; necromancy
What They Would Be Famous For: Nah
What They Would Get Arrested For: Public drunkenness, maybe (lightweighhhht); or brawling… or attacking a Thalmor convoy on the road without provocation. Probably that last one.
OC You Ship Them With: Hey gurl lemme Ha'ala atchoo
OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Rowan, maybe, if Al pushed him far enough
Favorite Movie/BookStory Genre: I don’t know that he would have much of a preference, actually.
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Again, I don’t know that there is one.
Talents and/or Powers: Alhusayn is an extremely skilled musician, both in singing and drumming (his lute-playing is a bit mediocre). He’s an adept swordsman as well, and despite his lack of education he’s fairly intelligent.
Why Someone Might Love Them: For one thing, Al is probably the most physically attractive of my muses. I apologize for nothing. Physical traits aside, he’s completely devoted when he’s in a relationship (which is admittedly a rare occurrence, as he’s also extremely shy going into that sort of thing). It takes a bit to draw him out of his shell, but once Al is comfortable around someone, he’s humorous and fun and a little bit goofy.
Why Someone Might Hate Them: Probably because he’s a stubborn ass who projects unreasonable expectations onto people and then gets frustrated when they don’t measure up to his preconceived nonsense.
How They Change: *cackles* This poor asshole has just been growing more bitter and dejected with every passing year. Time is coming, very soon, for him to begin learnin’ some thangs. And hopefully he’ll end up happier for it. Eventually.
Why You Love Them: My trashbaby. Al was really difficult for me in the beginning– I’d never attempted writing a male character before– but now that I’ve gotten into his head a bit I really enjoy him. He’s another “mostly good guy” who just has some really shitty aspects of his personality and I enjoy it so much. His rigidity and unwillingness (or inability) to see things from another point of view is fascinating to me, and I love love love exploring the differences and similarities between him and Caesa.
