couple new cosplays i’m gonna do, hopefully easier than the plans i have on hold for chat noir. (i still intend to DO cat nerd but zippers and spandex is an infuriating combination and i bit off more than i could chew. my Life Changes at the time also didn’t help.)
first one is sheba from golden sun, which i intend to debut on my annual trip to renfaire this year (so prob early august). her costume is fundamentally simple and the most complex thing will be like... trims and details. i already have a pretty reliable pattern i can use for both her tunic and cape, though i’ll have to do some... uh... creative things. to get the cape right, mostly her sash thing.
second one will be significantly more challenging! kh3 xion. i already have the wig and prop so that’s no biggie but kh costumes are a hellhole of unnecessary complexity and even though her outfit is one of the simpler ones it’s still gonna be a challenge. upside of that is i have found an exact pattern! downside of the pattern... its biggest size is like three sizes too small for my plus-size self.
