SHE’S HERE

so - had a baby today. well @alias424 did all the work. all i did was park the car, carry the bags up, and then hold my beautiful new honeybee for as long as humanly possible

everyone is doing great. cheese is ecstatic to be a a big sister. we are beyond delighted

i’m writing this with a tiny 5 day old baby laying on my chest. she’s magic. @alias424 and honeybee got to come home yesterday and i’ve been staring around my life going “HOW” ever since. 

cheese is fully committed to being a big sister. it is adorable.

i know have two tiny humans that i am responsible for. and both of them fill me with so much joy i can’t even cope.

but actually, this post is about @alias424. my best friend, my partner in life and parenting, and the one that did all the hard work to get our two kids into the world.

she is a wonder. the very best of people. having her in my life has made me a better person. she is kind, and generous, and creative, and filthily funny. 

i am very grateful to the universe for bringing her into my life.

we had a false alarm last night for the arrival of the baby we have dubbed the honeybee

at the maternity hospital from 3-5am. we tired, yo. so tired.

what a joker. we will see you on the 18th as per the schedule buddy!

in a rare (cos i forget i can actually update this at any time???) personal update: @alias424 are expecting kiddo #2 in August.

we are delighted :)
