To say Percy was tired was an understatement. For someone who’d rarely woken up before midday for most of his time at Hogwarts, paired with unfavourable night time habits that still stuck with him, the gruelling schedule of The Academy was really starting to get to him. Sitting in class, he found himself starting to drift off, brought back to consciousness by the sharp jab of a wand in his side.

“...Wait, you didn’t plan this one too, did you?”

Andromeda was frozen in the entrance to her room, one hand on the doorframe. She was gripping it for dear life. There was her bed, neatly turned down. There was the Flutterby insignia on the door. There was the bedside table Thetis’s empty cage sat on. She ought to go sit down. She ought to unpack. But she didn’t move, even when she heard footsteps behind her.
