So it turns out you were right about Jupiter Ascending. After seeing all of the reblogs these past couple days where people try to weakly refute my points, I've come to realize they are all cis het people. Making such claims as "Jupiter Ascending is a women's power fantasy" and "But she does have agency! (no examples)", and the classic "Your version of feminism is myopic, boring, run-ofthe-mill, and predictable" (therefore it's wrong?) Well there you go.

You know, it's times like these that I hate being right. I'd love to be wrong about this. I'd love for this movie to actually be a feminist power fantasy. Gods know we've got enough male power fantasies out there. Given a toss up between JA and 50SoG, though... I'd definitely go with JA.People tell me my outlook on the media is cynical. But when it gets to the point where I can predict with 95% accuracy whether or not a movie is going to suck in the first five minutes, well...That's just being realistic.

Sorry I haven't been on in a few days guys! So much shit has happened I don't know where to begin. Like @alicebitland asked me to be her girlfriend and I accepted. God she is a goddess. I lost my job and ended up moving down to live with Alice. I really poor and need to keep my car some how, even though I just lost my apartment. I feel like everything is just going to work out though I start job searching tomorrow and I'm gonna look for a modeling gig if I can.
