That was pretty cool. I wasn't 100%sure what I was getting into when I added this to my watch list but I liked it. Alice Junior is a story of a transgendered teenage girl whose being forced to go to a catholic school due her father moving for work. From the perspective of a cisgendered woman, I think this does a good job at showing a different side to the transgendered community. Unfortunately during Alice's sudden shake up in life she is dead named and forced to present as a boy at school, which means she does struggle to try and fit in until she stands up for the only male gay student at the school. Without it feeling educational for people like it, it still shows the slow progress that society has towards transgendered people. Using a teenage girl is one thing but being a transgendered teenage girl is another. It's definitely worth a watch that has a positive image on how you want to see yourself. #alicejunior #alicejuniormovie https://www.instagram.com/p/CM1iJFinrKk/?igshid=1tctlmhsdi7bv
