So i am new to mibba and j want to post my first ever jalex fic and i dont know how >.< please help!!!
Okay here’s what you do if you’re posting to Mibba. First, you have to set up your account and all, and after you’re done all that, here’s how you post a story.
At the Mibba homepage you click on where it says “My Mibba”
This next step might get confusing because you need to click “stories” - but there’s three places you can click. I took this screen shot and pointed to which one you’re supposed to click:
Now, you should see a button that says “New Story”
Now, you can write your Title, and Short Description. The short description will be what shows up when people first see your story (such as in the searches). You can make this a quick summary and the paring.
You’ll also see Summary with a much longer box provided. You can make a longer, more detailed summary, include any other pairings, disclaimers, or word count, etc.
Pick things in the drop menus such as language, rating, and whether it’s original fiction or fanfiction (if it’s about the band, it’s fanfiction)
Add tags and your ‘message for readers’ - usually tags are some pairings, content, etc and the message is typically “work in progress/oneshot/complete/hiatus” etc and pick your genres. You can select up to 3 on Mibba
When you finish all of that, you’ll be brought back to the list of your stories. You should see this: Click the chapters button.
It will tell you that you have no chapters, and here you can press “New chapter”
The New Chapter page is very similar to the New Story page. Write the title of your chapter (could be just Chapter One or 1/1 if it’s a oneshot) and an optional short description. Copy and paste your story/chapter into where it says “chapter” Double space between paragraphs, and for things such as bold and italics, use [i] (or b for bold and I think it’s u for underline?) at the beginning of whatever you want to italicize etc. and [/i] at the end. You can add in an Author’s Note at the end if you want.
Press the submit button and your new chapter has been posted!
When adding another chapter, repeat the first two steps, and step 8. You won’t see the red wording anymore, because since you’ve posted a chapter, your story is now available for readers to read. Click the new chapter button like you did to post your first chapter, and then put in your new chapter the same way.
