@leofgyth​ that looks like one that sneaks up on you and beans you with its spicy fruitiness. I had a Duvel this evening but it's only 8.5% ;-)

I drank it real fast b/c I wasn’t paying attention. I want to finish up my latest murder au story (it’s almost done! Just a few paragraphs left!) and I wanted this to loosen me up but now all I want to do is tell the world how much I love you and a bunch of people I don’t want to tag in a drunken praise-filled post 😭 (I am a hugely happy drunk, which is great but NOT NOW)

Really enjoying DeadBeat! Wondering if the Dragon Adventure the girls are reading is one of those Oxford Reading ones with Biff Kipper and Chip. The glowing key set off alarm bells from my eldest's guiding reading back in KS1 ;-D

It absolutely is. I have been teaching six year olds for a year and the depths of my disgust for Biff Chip and Kipper knows no bounds. I know so many of those books by heart and I hate them. Dragon Adventure is vaguely acceptable bc at least there’s a dragon, you know?
