❛ everyone’s saying they’ll come for us first, ❜ her face was BLEAK, her eyes dull, distant with fear. she was trying so hard. she was trying so hard to be brave ( gryffindors are supposed to be brave, aren’t they? ), just like her mother, like her father, and like the rest of her family. but all she wanted was to be safe, safe and away from everything that could harm her and threaten everything she held DEAR. ❛ they’re right, you know? they will come for us first. we’re the children of war heroes. ❜ even her voice was different, weakened by fear. but there was a hint of certainty in it, like she was convinced they were heading towards a doomed path to never come back again.
