I got high the other night and starting ranting to my friend about the Hork-Bajir.

I talked about the peaceful, tree eating race of creatures who used the blades on their body to eat the bark of the trees. I started crying a bit.

He thought I was making shit up.

I talked about how a race of parasitic slugs turned them into war fighting weapons, and how they learned that the stars weren't flowers.

My friend said

"That's profound dude"

I said

"That's Animorphs dude."

"Woah."

I’ll be honest, I’d love Animorphs series but I can’t see it really working as a Live Action series. The Thought-Speaking would be a little awkward, seeing some CGI, or even Live Action, animals just sitting staring at each other. An animated Animorphs series though? Would be fantastic. Too bad Sony atm has the filming rights.
