🌸 How To Upload Your Own Music for Glenthemes Players (Spotify/YouTube → MP3 → OpenDrive)

Glenthemes' music players are installed in many of my themes - you need a direct .mp3 link for the song to play. Here's how you can upload your own music and get the correct link!

🎵 1. Get the .mp3 file

You can use either Spotify or YouTube:

Option A: YouTube to MP3

Go to https://ytmp3.nu/ (or any trusted YT to MP3 converter)

Paste your YouTube video link

Click Convert → then Download your .mp3 file

Option B: Spotify Downloader

Use a site like https://spotifydown.com

Paste the Spotify song URL

Click Download and save the .mp3 file to your computer

☁️ 2. Create an OpenDrive account

Go to https://www.opendrive.com

Click Sign Up Free

Use your email to create an account (confirm your email if needed)

⬆️ 3. Upload your music to OpenDrive

Log in to OpenDrive

Go to the Files tab or your My Drive

Click Upload

Select your .mp3 file from your computer and upload it

🔗 4. Get the direct .mp3 link

Once your file is uploaded:

Find your uploaded song in your drive

Click the three dots (...) next to it or right-click the file

Choose Share

Click Direct Link or Get Link

Copy the direct streaming link ending in .mp3

It will look like this: https://od.lk/s/MjFfMzI0MzYwNjBf/songname.mp3

🎶 5. Paste that link into your Glenthemes music player!

Go into your Tumblr theme HTML

at the bottom of the customization page, you will see [Audio MP3 Source]

Replace the link with your .mp3 link

Save your changes!

ADVENTURE TIME, FLAME PRINCESS (3x26 & 4x1)

as part of a yearly challenge (and a lifelong obsession with the show), i have some codes based around the cartoon network series Adventure Time. these are two codes based off of two episodes that center around Phoebe the Flame Princess. the first is an application that includes a shipper, and the second would be a tracker to organize a character’s active stuff and archives!

i have thought about creating more stuff based off of this aesthetic, so interact if you’d enjoy seeing that in the future! <3

as part of a yearly challenge (and a lifelong obsession with the show), i have some codes based around the cartoon network series Adventure Time. these eight codes are inspired by the stakes mini-series and the character marceline the vampire queen. there is a shipper, a canon list, a development information storage, a thread template, an application, a tracker, a mini-profile, and an aesthetic development code. the 6 codes available for use are linked below <3

there’s more to the board stats code, but it’s unfinished so there’s a sneak preview. currently working on forum display & a header to add to this group, but here’s a profile app, mini profile, and ¾ of the board stats. these codes have no future home at the moment and are just something i started whipping up last week. the gradients, colors, and triangle shapes were definitely a little inspired by the midnight gospel on netflix.

ADVENTURE TIME, MORTAL FOLLY & RECOIL (2x25 & 26)

as part of a yearly challenge (and a lifelong obsession with the show), i have some codes based around the cartoon network series Adventure Time. these two codes are both site codes. one is an app with tabs, hovers, scrolls, and transitions and the other is a site announcement/update & spotlight code! these codes are available for use, links below <3

APP TEMPLATE - MEMBER GROUP INFO -  member group colors are in the CSS variables listed as "--candykingdom-lght:" followed by some numbers, and a few more of those with candykingdom-drk and other membergroups (lumpyspace, icekingdom, etc). you can change these group titles, but be sure to go through and search/replace them throughout the css and code. they cannot have spaces, and its best to keep it simple because your members will need to use that throughout their app in order for their app to coordinate properly with their member group.  (pls don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about this or variables in general!!)
