Michael, Maria, and Alex is quite something. When Michael and Maria smooch in front of Alex, I felt my stomach drop a little bit just because I was shocked she would do that after telling Alex she cares about him. But then she smooches Alex too out of nowhere so I am at a loss at this point: crazy stuff. This truly is a glorious love triangle.  

On another note, I am also a big Max fan.  So much of season one was bolstered by his presence, but his vibe has never changed even a single time. Max plays his persona  well, but it never changes so I am starting to get tired of Max; probably why I wrote about Alex and Michael for paper 2.  His “new memory” is enticing but we shall see what it entails.

My three choices are all about the love affair of Alex and Michael in Roswell, New Mexico.  The GIF is very self explanatory, in that it is entirely about the love Alex and Michael have for one another;  GIF’s are not very complex, but they are very quick and relatable.  My video tells the story of Michael building up the courage to “say what he wants to say,” regardless of the consequences.  The video is played over the soundtrack to “Happier,” which makes it clear that Michael and Alex are headed to a happier destiny together.  The fanfiction I chose is about how much Alex and Michael actually care about one another, and how that love overpowers lust and adversity.  All three selections are about Michael and Alex finding out what they both mean to one another.

1. Hey Brother | Winchesters & Earps

Admittedly, the main reason I chose and frankly even watched this video to begin with is because I am an Avicii fanatic.  RIP to one of of most ingenious musical talents of our era.  On another note, the video is a whole is a very emotional and intense compilation of moments from Wynona, and better yet, it is all over one of my personal favorite Avicii soundtracks.

2. Doc Holliday - Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp) - Sexyback

This video speaks for itself, and almost made my first choice because of how energizing it is.  Sexyback is an all time great soundtrack and the sound of JT and Timbaland makes Doc look like even more of a stud than he ordinarily does. Between the hat, the vest, the stoagies that he always keeps lit, and the passion in his face, this video makes Doc out to be the bachelor everyone deserves.  

3. doc + waverly + wynonna | safe & sound

Choosing this video happened on its own, this was about the fourth consecutive video playing on my computer while I was talking to my sister and when the song came on, I knew it had to make my list.  Its a lengthier video that uses the lyrics ‘safe and sound’ to convey and evoke a feeling of warmth and safety while you watch the three badasses of wynona earp handle their business for three and a half minutes.  

4. Juice | Women of Roswell New Mexico

I chose this video because the title ‘Juice’ caught my attention to begin with and the entire video is just women being dope over a perky soundtrack.  There is a mix of funny, lustful, and badass moments in this mashup.  This video definitely took some time to compile and put together, and it was well worth the watch.

5. Alex & Michael | Without Me

This video is fifth on my list because I dont enjoy getting in my feels especially just from watching a youtube video, but if I were grading these based on effectiveness of communication, this would probably be number one.  Halsey sings the song better than the dude doing this cover version, but the song combined with the clips and the dialogue in the scenes made me almost lose it.
