Gotta catch 'em all: Bambam imagine
This was one of the many adventures you had with Kunpimook and as usual, it often led to something interesting happening of course.
Well, Kunpimook decided it would be great to contact you since you happened to be in the area and they had some downtime until their performance. By some downtime, he means about a day or two, which is a rare thing in and of itself.
You insisted he spend this time wisely by eating and resting, just regarding his health and well-being. However, it definitely seemed like the Thai boy had that thought last on his mind which led you to your current situation.
He had messaged you at some ungodly hour and he sounded frantic so you were more than enough concerned. He texted you to meet him in the square nearby and you obliged because you weren’t going to let him be on his own. What if something happened to him while he was out there? You wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if you knew you did nothing about it.
Your hair was a complete messy but you straightened it out as much as you could, slipping a cap on for good measure so you did not completely look like how you felt. You threw on some simple clothes before you snuck out your house to attend to the emergency at hand.
It was about 1 in the morning so you were not surprised by how dark it seemed outside, you just kept it moving and watched where you going. You did not want to get yourself in trouble when you were supposed to be helping someone else out.
You sped your way to the square that was not too far away from your house, seeing the streetlights of the area that became fuller and fuller the closer you got. You hoped he got there safe or that he was at least nearby. You felt so anxious and nervous about this situation, he was sweet but you thought he could be a bit too reckless sometimes. Especially, him being the person he is.
You tried to push down some of your worries as you looked around, trying to see if he was here. You did not see him clearly in the square so already your stomach turned. You were not one to panic but you cared a lot about him.
You waited for a second. Maybe he was a bit of a walk away? He is not too familiar with this area so it could be just your paranoia getting to you. Besides, you had to put some faith in him and you did not think it was healthy for you to worry yourself sick while you were out here.
You were about to start looking around when you felt a hand on your shoulder and you almost jumped out of your shoes. Your eyes were bulging out of your head as you turned just to see Kunpimook laughing as you tried to slow down your racing heart. He could have killed you!
You shoved him as he laughed before scowling. You thought he was in trouble and you were worried about him not being here. He was lucky your reflexes were not faster or he could have gotten punched in the face. But then again, you would get a plenty of trouble for that so you were glad you did not.
That would be awkward to explain to Jaebum how he got a bloody nose and you do think his manager would be none too happy with you.
You sighed before he laughter started to die down, he muttered a bit of an apology before he pulled into a bit of a hug. You felt a bit better than a second ago, but you were still kind of angry with him. At least you could put your worries to rest for the time being since he was right here in front of you.
He released you before you both started some small talk which consisted of you prying to how he has been. You knew his life has been pretty busy lately so you wanted as many details as he could tell you at the moment. And you were glad he at least seemed healthy and happy.
You saw him pull out his phone before you looked confused. He tapped something and his eyes lit up, looking over you into a different direction as you furrowed your eyebrows. He glanced at you with a smile before he showed you the phone screen.
He called out to play Pokémon Go at 1 in the morning.
You looked at him incredulously like he offended your entire being. All this time you thought he was getting mugged or something and he just wanted to play Pokémon Go with you?? And it seemed like there was a Vulpix nearby that he wanted to capture.
You were pretty sure you would rather be in your bed sleeping and dreaming the hours away, but he seemed very intent on getting this Vulpix with you. Also, you did not think you had the heart to turn him down. Plus, you were already out here so you might as well do something worth while before you needed to sneak back into your house.
You both started heading into the direction of the Vulpix, going towards the houses close to the square. Even if this was not your kind of thing, it was nice to be able to spend whatever time you have with him before he had to go back to his usual schedule.
As you continued, you saw him suddenly pause before he turned and glanced across the street, you assumed it had to be over there. When the light turned red, he hurried across with you in tow, heading further down before stopping altogether.
He held his phone up as you glanced over his shoulder. There it was, a Vulpix stared right back at the both of you as he concentrated. You watched as he threw pokeballs at it, trying to capture it. You were pretty amused by the whole thing though only a little.
He threw his third pokeball at it and it got captured, Kunpimook stiffing up as he stared at the screen. You watched as the pokeball shook once and you could feel his breath stop. It seemed like the longest second before the ball shook again, and then it didn’t move. He gave the happiest smile before you both continued on your very early morning adventure.
You both travelled place to place, finding a pokestop so he could get some items and were also able to capture a weedle that happened to stumble into your path. Though, his biggest plan was to capture the gym in town.
The gym in your town happened to be this library towards the train station, and from what his phone screen had showed you, it belonged to Team Valor in this town.
He reached right outside the library, his phone held in hand as he challenged the Gym Leader, seeing the Blastoise with the high cp right on the screen. You kept watch diligently, rooting him on quietly as the battle was beginning. Though you stayed quiet as not to disturb him.
He looked so focused as he started to rapidly tap the screen, trying to fend off the Blastoise as his Pokémon was taking hits itself. He started getting really tense as he tried to avoid getting hit by the Blastoise to at least make sure it could deal some damage to the next one.
It seemed so silly but you could feel the suspense as he fought before the Blastoise knocked out his first Pokémon, hearing him mumbling something in Thai under his breath before his next Pokémon came out and he rapidly started tapping again.
It went back and forth for a bit as you watched, trying not to do anything to mess him up. You were not even playing the game but you could tell this was going to be a pretty hard match so it made you slightly anxious. You would rather see him win than lose to some guy you did not even know.
As the battle neared the end, they were both down to their last Pokémon, the Gym leader having the slight advantage in health but Kunpimook seemed pretty determined to get this gym. He was not planning to lose and you were crossing your fingers.
The battle continued on as he kept the fast rhythm of tapping as each picked off the health of the other. You could not help but be kind of proud how he was holding himself up in the match compared to these stronger people. Though, he was your friend and he was more than stubborn than they were strong.
You stopped breathing when you focused back on the health and he was on his last leg, you had some doubts but he was able to pull through and take out the Gym Leader’s last defense before he started to celebrate a bit.
He glanced at you with a victorious smile before he squished you tight in a hug, almost picking you up off the floor. You were pretty happy, returning the hug before he loosened up to show you the gym. Now the library was under Team Instinct.
You gave him a high-five and a nice thumbs up before you both settled down a bit.
You knew it was getting pretty late and you had to go but you did let him know you had a pretty fun time.
He nodded with a bit of a shy smile before you two kept close, him leaning in before he planted a kiss on your cheek. You felt the heat rush to your cheeks as you heard another voice call out and glanced over, seeing Jinyoung was heading right into your direction.
He stopped in front of you guys and gave Kunpimook a look before the other rubbed his neck a bit. Jinyoung just side-eyed him, glanced you over before he gave a sigh, so you took it that he had to go now.
Kunpimook begrudgingly went with him after you all exchange goodbyes for the night.
As they walked away, Kunpimook glanced back at you and dabbed. You chuckled a bit before returning the favor, waving goodbye before you headed home.
