ranting about chaol’s mischaracterization in qos, don’t mind me
okay so i’ve barely started qos but like wtf why is chaol so out of character??? i get rowaelin is happening. that’s okay, i can get behind that. but is it fucking necessary to turn chaol into an asshole to justify it???? he’s written so out of character like he would never call aelin a monster. NEVER. NEVER FUCKING EVER. he’s not that guy. he LOVED her!!!! he wouldn’t treat her like a completely different person when she got back and yet he’s written to?? the only justification i needed for rowaelin was aelin saying she didn’t love chaol anymore. that’s it. i’ve really lost respect for sarah for throwing one of her main characters into a trash can to justify a new ship. not fucking necessary
