KNY! EMPYREA PT 1. MEMORIAL TOWER @alisaiev
it’s an entirely new land. from the flying boats to the ravaged ruins, amami feels excitement. a new world to explore, new people to talk to-- or none, as it seemed that most people here weren’t too fond of talking.
well, that was fine. amami supposed that he’d have to learn about the culture of the land somewhere else. so far, the ruins weren’t providing much answers. it’d be nice if there was an library somewhere... those usually offered information by the tons.
koi’s legends are something he’d read up on, of course, the history a land had made up their culture and how locals would react to certain things. legends usually just stayed legends, but it wasn’t as if amami hadn’t had his fair share of them coming back to life... though it’d been fairly far and few in between.
korekiyo’d have a field day, with this place.
the tower stands elegant, having weathered time easily with its grace. carefully walking up the stairs, he can tell the structure itself had been built with care. had the clockmaker princess build such a thing? it was more likely she’d built the intricate clock at the top, however.
he just hopes nobody attacks him, here. after all, the clock tower was an enclosed space with only one opening... if the residents of this land rushed him, it was likely he’d be easily overwhelmed.
well, a hazard of traveling alone.
reaching the final floor, he stops, mouth parting in awe-- before his eyes land on someone else.
“haha. are you here to explore, too?”
probably. don’t ask the obvious. but it was either that, or they were a resident of empyrea. if the latter... he’d definitely have to run.
