I have sold 2 of the 3 of my Grenfell pieces, enabling donations to be made to the #khadijasayememorialfund There is still one piece left in my @folksyhq shop (link in profile). I think I can make 3 or 4 more from the newspaper, so that's what I am going to do. If you don't know, Khadija Saye was a young artist who lost her life in the Grenfell fire. The fund will support young artists whose background and circumstances might not necessarily grant them access to such support. Thank you to @colourliving and @amy.bethel for buying the work. Train and bus stitching today. Still using those horrible front pages. In other news, our southern parakeets are moving north, and have been spotted in Sheffield. The story goes that the first ones escaped from Ealing during the filming of The African Queen. I really want to believe this story. There is another story involving Hendrix, but I can't remember it.
