I'm terrible at thinking of questions and I feel guilty tagging others, but I was tagged for an 11 Questions Meme a few days ago and am just now getting around to answering properly. Alistairsrose, here you go!

1. What fictional character would you like to meet and why?

My Elissa, to give her a very long hug. For others' characters, I'd probably pick Molly Weasley. Because she's Molly-Fucking-Weasley

2. Favourite Book?

Books, technically, and the Belgariad/Malloreon series by David Eddings

3. If you could be a celebrity for the day who would you be?

Not sure off-hand; someone just-recognized-enough to get double-takes and a few hellos, but not crazy paparazzi.

4. Favourite creature from mythology or fiction?

Fae. Although I'm terrified of them, cause I don't mean Tinkerbell, I mean ALL the original kinds of fairies.

5. What colour are your bedroom walls?

Generic Apartment Off-White

6. What song accurately describes how you’re feeling at the moment?

I would say Miracle of Sound's "The Dead Don't Shuffle (They Run)" but there's no way in fuck I'm capable of running right now.

7. Favourite tumblr blog(s)?

Too many to pick even a selection.

8. What is your proudest accomplishment?

Completing A Warden's Duty. It may be "just" fanfic and therefore unsellable (and really, kind of crap for the first half or so) but that's a 141k word novel. I normally start projects without finishing them, so finishing THAT was amazing.

9. Favourite horror movie?

The Exorcist

10. If you could live anywhere [fictional or not fictional] where would you live?

Seattle area, because I actually enjoy that weather and I have a bunch of friends there.

11. Can you speak a language other than English?

Not fluently, but I'm what I call "tourist fluent" (asking for directions, prices, etc, and understanding the replies) in spoken Spanish and Japanese, and can read at almost the same level in most Western European languages (Spanish, French, Italian, and some German).

I was going to reblog reply but it cut off the message so I'll reply here. I used to have a friend who adored Twilight/50 Shades of Grey but I didn't really care until she got a boyfriend and completely changed her personality and started making really awful sex jokes about her friends to show off...I honestly think it was these books that influenced her behavior and that's why I don't like them. It encourages unhealthy relationships and it's teaching this to teenage girls which is worrying.

Like, I'm not going to say that all people are swayed by the media--books, television, etc. But some are. And when you take a book like Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey and you put it on a pedestal, tell young women that it is a must read, make merchandise of handcuffs for fucks-sake, there are those that are bound to accept the perverse messages of those books. Which, generally equate to, "Oh, it's okay to have this man do whatever he wants to to me because he's hot." No. No no no. Nono. No. Like you mentioned, there are better books out there, and though they may portray similar relationships, they show the reader that that sort of behavior is morally wrong and unacceptable, whereas T/50SoG do not.

Got tagged by alistairsrose to do this survey thing. I don't mind, since I enjoy talking about myself but I'm not tagging others lol. I also realized mid-way that I wasn't supposed to answer the first 10 questions but I answered them anyways derp, oh well, enjoy this survey thing I guess~ 

1: Any brothers or sisters?

Two older brothers. I'm the youngest of three and the only girl. My oldest lives in Arizona. He's 27. My other brother is 25 and lives with me and my dad still.

2: Favourite musical?

A Chorus Line. It's a beautiful musical and the story is fantastic and the songs are catchy and the dancing is great. I also have a soft spot for Chicago and the Music Man, though! Wow, that's a hard question.

3: Cosplay you wish you could do?

Isabela from Dragon Age 2. Unfortunately, I can't afford a corset right now. Also, Huntress would be insane cool too! I would loooove the cosplay the Huntress.

4: Favorite time of year?

Winter. I love it when it gets cold. I love Christmas. I love hearing Christmas songs. I love going to stores where people are Christmas shopping. I love how much people freak out here when there's a %1 chance of snow. Oh, and hot cocoa.

5: How long you’ve had a tumblr?

I've been on tumblr for 3+ years. This is my 4th tumblr and I've had it for a little more than a year, I think?

6: If you could have a one on one interview with ANY celebrity who would it be? And what are some questions you would ask them?

This is so fucking lame but I would want to interview David Gaider and ask him a shit ton of questions regarding Dragon Age and the lore of Thedas. Either that or Katy Perry and I'd just ask her why she is so perfect.

7: What are your OTPs?

Male Hawke x Fenris and Femshep x Garrus, hands down no contest.

8: Least favourite TV show?

Least favorite? Uh, that's hard. I usually disregard any shows I don't like but I suppose I would have to say Johnny Test is probably my least favorite show because so help me every time that comes on cartoon network. It's supposed to be a children's cartoon but the animation is horrible, the characters are so dumb and the main character never learns a lesson and is rewarded for being lazy, cheating, and for doing a lot of stuff children shouldn't do. I also really hate MTV2's "Guy Code" because the guys and women on there are such douchebags.

9: Dream destination (Reality)

Japan. I've seen numerous specials on Japan and I'm fascinated by the culture and atmosphere of the country. That, and Tokyo looks so beautiful all lit up at night.

10: Dream destination (fiction)

The Pokemon world. Seriously, who wouldn't want to live in a world where you can train pokemon and pokemon exist? It sounds awesome! And my two favorite fandoms would be terrible places to actually live.

11: Favorite show and best season of that show 

Paradise Kiss. There's only one season but it's an amazing anime that is close to my heart and the animation is great and you need to watch it if you haven't seen it!

12: What fictional character would you like to meet and why?

Alistair from Dragon Age. I would love to hug him and cuddle him and tell him everything will be okay. Or Isabela so I can tell her how much I respect her and love her.

13: Favorite Book?

Due to my incredibly bad attention span that really might be ADHD, I don't read as much as I should. But Perks of Being a Wallflower would probably be my favorite. It's one of the only books I've read more than once.

14. If you could be a celebrity for the day who would you be?

Katy Perry. She's beautiful, kinda and can sing. What else could I want?

15. Favorite creature from mythology or fiction?

Pokemon count, right? I love Jigglypuff.

I painted them myself and the exact name of the paint was Barbie Pink!

Oh, don't do this to me! I love all of the blogs I follow and could name different things I love about each of them. Personality and friend wise some great ones are: thechelstard, -aliciainwonderland, horseofthewest, twilight-minaj, mahuika, ayanaisababe, cresselia and chakwas. And like the top two blogs I think I love based off of everything is thearishok and dream-zanarkand. Gah. I follow like 300+ blogs, I can't choose well and probably forgot someone and I feel like a douchebag posting my favorites.

19. What is your proudest accomplishment?

Not going to lie, my proudest moment was probably when I got my first lead role in a play. Even more than graduating high school, getting my first lead was amazing since I had always played minor parts. It felt like I was actually talented and somebody recognized it.

I don't do well in horror movies and get scared easily. I don't have a favorite, sorry. I have seen some but dfysgfajsdfasal.

The Pokemon World! Pokemon would be awesome and dsfgdsajfal I would love to battle and have my own team and compete and go on a pokemon journey.

I can hula hoop for 20 minutes straight without stopping. my friend timed me for a dare too see how long i could go

who is the one person you wish would follow you back?

I have no idea. I don't! I wish i did, but I have only had a tumblr since august and so far I am liking everyone I follow. I wish everyone would follow back cos they all have amazing blogs, but then I already feel like my blog is  not good enough cos I never do edits or artwork or fan-fiction I just post funny pictures and silly text posts :D

aw thanks! but i think i love my mind and my thoughts. I am partially crazy and i space out a lot but if i am in a creative mood i have to drop everything and do that creative thing. I like that. once i wrote a two page fem!Doctor who fic in the middle of class, i quite like it.

if you won the lottery what would you do?

I have had millions of hypothetical conversations about his, i would put a bunch in the bank to collect interest, go to harry potter world and buy everything, get a nice house and fill it with a swimming pool, home theatre, a ballroom, and lots of fancy bedrooms. I would also splurge on thinkgeek.com because i want so many things from there. I would give family and friends money as well

well watching my OTP break up would probably cause me to jump into a shark pit with sadness, but i would probably choose the break up rather than getting eaten

Lucy from the chronicles of narnia or ginny (book) in harry potter. I admire them both, they are strong and brave and live in beautiful worlds

in my own little head anywhere i could find The Doctor, but I would choose Michelangelo painting the Sistine chapel ceiling. its so beautiful and great history
