And I don’t think I know any other kdrama that’s as light as WFKBJ, however, here are two of my favorite dramas that are light-ish!
Coffee PrinceYou Who Came From The Stars
Coffee Prince, like WFKBK, doesn’t really have that typical hardcore mean third party girl and lovesick super duper devoted third party boy, and has a pretty light, funny and wholesome story all in all (also, the chemistry between actors are great, plus Bok Joo and Eun Chan are both characters not much– in Eun Chan’s case, AT ALL–concerned over their looks)
YWCFTS has that beautiful (and she knows it) but quirky main female lead, and while it’s not as lighthearted as Coffee Prince and WFKBJ because of the main antagonist, it still isn’t as heavy as other dramas! (Also, again, amazing chemistry! Plus the cast are are A++)
Here’s another drama I have yet to finish, but so far, has great writing for all their characters: Reply 1988 (and I believe all the Reply series have great character writing? I’ve heard from a friend that Reply 1997 is great too)
