Yeah, as much as I had some problems with the anime as well, the ending was at least acceptable. ((haha...Mecha Shibusen. haaa... Gosh Studio BONES.)) One of the rare cases when Studio BONES manages to pull off an anime original ending that doesn't pale in comparison.

i got bored during that arc but i hate not finishing things so kept on reading to see how it would end. i still love a lot of the characters and the universe it’s in, i just wish it’s final chapters would have been given the care they needed

I have a hard time reading manga on my computer screen, so the fact I fell behind doesn't shock me at all. It does bug me I've never finished it since...anyone who ever followed me on Deviant Art when it was airing would know I was -really- into the series... and really enjoyed the cast. (Maka and Soul are cuties, and Medusa and Stein are one of my foreverOTPs)

Siiiigh. Usually good characters can pull me through bad story telling, but that Noah arc. gosh.

i was extremely disappointed with how soul eater ended because it felt very slapped together and very rushed. the characters themselves felt very ooc too at the end

I fell really behind in the manga because I could -NOT- get into the Noah arc at all. And then, at the advice of others, I never bothered catching back up after it finished. (I read a couple of chapters in the arc after the Noah arc here and there if I knew Medusa was in them tho? haha)

A shame. It had such fun premise and characters; the world was fun too, but that storytelling just couldn't hold it together I guess. >3>

That's disappointing, but from what I understand, Soul Eater's manga itself sorta fell apart at the end. ((even the beginning was oozing with story telling flaws; it just had fun style to make up for it))

i can vouch for a lot of the historical fiction ones being excellent. esp. elizabeth and elizabeth: the golden age. those are two of my all time favorites so definitely watch those and back to back for a more intense emotional impact

ah good! I've had an interest in elizabeth I all my life, so I'm excited to watch them uvu

heheh why thank you! Those are actually all the movies I still need to see and are in my netflix queue, so I can't give you my opinion just yet on that one uvu but I will be sure to tell you once I see it! I am both excited and intimidated by the amount of movies I need to watch, ahah c':

Heheh I sometimes do that, if I have long sleeves! I end up with my whole upper body inside the torso part of the shirt heh uvu

i've never been able to do that either. i typically just grab the front and yank it off over my head in one fell swoop

Yeah I get caught! If it's short sleeves or a camisole or something, I usually grab the front/sides of the hem and flip it up to my elbows, then over my head (but quickly lmao, not like... in steps ahah c: )
