Impressions...

I still haven't had time to really process everything that happened on Saturday into a real fan account of the concert, but I did have a lot of time to get some interesting impressions from the guys throughout the day.

Taeyang - The Energizer Bunny would be jealous of Youngbae's energy level! In soundcheck, everybody was only giving it half energy, but even YB's 50% was more than most people's 150%. HE NEVER STOPPED MOVING. He was even bouncing out the door and high-fiving the crowd when they were leaving Baek Jang after 2am. He keeps going and going and going... And he's so warm and inviting. He just makes you want to jump around. When his jacket got stuck on his arm at the beginning of the show, he seemed so frustrated. I felt bad for him because he couldn't go all out dancing. He looked like he wanted to kick that jacket's ass. LOL. It was really cute. It is more than he was born to dance and anything that gets in his way must go! He seems to not like keeping his clothes on very much. And I'm not complaining. At all.

Seungri - HOLY FUCKING FUCK HE IS HANDSOME IN PERSON. I wouldn't call V.I. my least favorite. It's just that the others are so so special in my heart that they're just a tiny bit more special to me than he is. UNTIL SATURDAY. I love him. He's the mood maker on stage. He can see you and he wants you to know he can see you. You can tell he's so happy to be where he is and doing what he's doing and he wants to share that with other people around him. Off stage, he's way more calm that he is on stage/camera. He's not the one who comes off as immediately approachable, but omg he just radiates HANDSOME. Dear Seungri, congratulations on your face! After TOP's bday dinner, Seungri was the one who left the restaurant fastest, head down, and didn't slow down to say hi to anyone. He seemed exhausted so I don't blame him.

Daesung - Oh, oh, oh Daesung. Daesung was the highlight of my... LIFE. He's beautiful. His hair, his smile, his BODY. I got SO SO MUCH interaction with Daesung. Starting in soundcheck, we made eye contact and then it was like he could find me anywhere I moved. He spent a ton of time on our side of the stage. I'd make a face, he'd make a face. He'd rock out, I'd rock out. You know that feeling that you would be BFFs with someone even though you've never met? That's how Daesung makes you feel. Besides that, he's got the voice of a rock star and the smile of an angel. Seriously, his smile will brighten your day and if you MADE that smile happen? WATCH OUT. You may have a heart attack. He completely stole my heart. His stage manner is the best of all the guys because of the way he makes really quality connections with people. His performance of "Wings" was one of the 3 moments in the show where I lost my shit and started crying. Amazing. He was obviously tired by the end of the night, but still giving out smiles and waves on the way out of the restaurant.

G-Dragon - Kwon Jiyong is SEX ON LEGS. Every move, every face, every sound that comes from him is sexy. And he knows it! When he said in his new English rap "King with the aces, I'm the best. Period." It was TRUE. That's not bragging, that is PREACHING! He is an original. It's like his DNA is made of music chords. You would hear a noise that sounded really cool and think it was the band, but then realize that GD was making that sound with his mouth! He IS music. You could tell the boy was in a great mood starting in soundcheck. He wasn't going full speed like Taeyang, but he was looking around at everybody and taking it all in. He seemed like the type who needs to get into a headspace before performing so he was kind of serious at times. While rehearsing Crayon, he didn't look at the crowd at all with his head down behind his towel, but when he was done, he was head up and smiling again. When he looks at you, you want to die because it makes you scared that other men will pale in comparison for the rest of your life. Same with T.O.P, but this isn't about him. My favorite moment, and I think it will be my favorite memory of Kwon Jiyong for the rest of my life, was when they asked the crowd to sing "Haru Haru" and everyone sang along and it sounded BEAUTIFUL. He turned away and looked behind him and OMG the look on his face. I've never seen someone look so touched. Like... seriously grateful. It looked like we gave him something special. That was another moment that made me cry. I love him. And he's an adorable giggly drunk. That's all I'll say about that. And he was wearing shorts for soundcheck and Baek Jang and has the most amazing legs!

T.O.P - The man of my dreams. Sigh. This babo! lol. My very very first impression of him was "WOW." My second impresson was "OMG. He's a 5 year old!" Pictures do not do this man justice. He's not just handsome, he is BEAUTIFUL. His face was airbrushed by the hand of God. Also, DAT ASS! His T.O.P persona is so smooth and larger than life. I would even say that he seemed a little chilly and above it all when he rapped at certain points. But then he comes out of it and he's seriously the biggest, most awesome DORK I've ever seen! Grinning, giggling at himself, trying not to smile and failing. He seems like he's got the world's best sense of humor. I don't think I've ever seen a single person have so many different personalities in such a short span of time. Cold, crazy, energetic, empathetic, silly, mature, so many sides of this man! He's not the king of fan service, but when he does it, omg he makes it count. He looks you in the eye and it feels like he GIVES YOU SOMETHING. Like it's a gift and you're different afterward. He took a piece of you and traded it for a piece of him. He seems like he genuinely tries to study every face that he connects with. He gets so intense. It's like he's acting and singing at the same time. I lost my shit and tears started streaming down my face during his rap in "Love Song". That song means everything to me. And omg WHEN HE CHOOMS... the whole world is right! My bias is a 5 year old. The look of surprise and then sheer glee on his face when they brought out those cakes is something I will never forget. And this fool popping DAT ASS. He was having the time of his life and doing anything to get a laugh. I would love to have a conversation with him. He just seems like so much fun. And he's the cutest drunk I've ever seen. The birthday boy got his DRANK on at Baek Jang! He was so adorable coming out of the restaurant with his waving and grinning and touching people (ME!!). I really hope to get to talk with him one day and try to get inside that head. He's working on his English, I'mma work on my Korean. We can meet somewhere in the middle. This is my new life goal. lol.

This ended up being SO MUCH longer than I thought it would be and still know that I'm leaving things out. There was that much that happened in those 12 hours of my life. Sigh. I can't wait to do it again.
