Because it was about race. It continues to be about race. My race was enslaved by another race, and though now free, we continue to be oppressed and belittled by that same race that publicly denies its racism but continues to profit from its racist systems. I am my race every single day; I didn’t choose it; I can’t change it. Despite being powerless to change it, I have been judged countless times on nothing other than my race. Since everyone is doing this shit, here’s mine(Take note that everyone is doing theirs on random shit) 1. Got pulled over by a white cop doing 82 in a 70 - got a ticket and had to do a driver improvement course. 2. Got pulled over in my moms truck by a white cop for her dead inspection sticker, got a ticket. Can you believe he didn’t believe me when I said it was my moms truck!? 3. Wreck on interstate for hydroplaning. White cop came in my hospital room and gave me a ticket for “Failure to maintain my lane” 4. Black friend gets pulled over for speeding after getting off work- gets let off with a warning. Point of the matter is, just because some people get off the hook for things, doesn’t mean EVERY white person does. It also doesn’t mean every black person gets in trouble for things. If it were the case, there’d be not a single white person in prison or jail. For another thing, if blacks are tired of being treated like criminals, then shouldn’t they be concerned about the ones that are making that title for them? The rioters sure ain’t helping y'all out.

you all are blaming this on racism. this rioting. bull shit. this video explains so well that these black peoples are protesting. if they want to protest against the police officers not their own black neighborhoods or the innocent white people who have nothing to do with this injustice. yes there are many cases where police racism has occurred and that also NEEDS to stop. however the black people who are trying to prove a point by destroying stuff and taking from other blacks and innocent whites need to stop. they are only further enraging the police and giving them a reason to be so uptight. I AM NOT SAYING THE RACISM AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE THAT POLICE SHOW IT OKAY. BECAUSE IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm saying that there are better ways to handle this situation that throwing rocks. people have said rocks don't compare to the lethal weapons cops have¿ well then don't use violence and give them a reason to use them! police racism IS. a thing and it needs to stop. but so do the blacks that think violent protesting is the answer.

I don't have Twitter but I wanted to share. 5y/o holding my father's hand in the mall, police follow us and detain him thinking he was trying to steal me til my mom showed up
