☆ I'll try to build a Beach House for Sulani. I hope you like it! This house is for a family with a kid, a teenager and a cat. I used some no cc arts from aljay2000, Babewire, BansheeHVO & MOONL1GHTSEEKER. Thank you so much for your arts! ♥ ☆
My entry for #BB19 of the #BlueprintBuilds challenge by #AlJay2000.
“With 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a hobby room, this Art Deco revival house offers plenty of space for both family living and stylish entertaining.”
When decorating this build, I imagined that it is for a glamorous single mother, who is a businesswoman, and her rebellious teenage son.
I thought that the open-plan layout looks like it fits into a modern build. But personally, I’m more into historic builds. In the end, I went with a contemporary Art Deco/ Art Deco revival style so that I can make the build look sleek and modern but with some traditional touches to it.
Also, I realised belatedly that I misinterpreted part of the stairs on the first floor. Oh well…

Welcome to Art Deco Abodes!
With 2 bedrooms (with the option to convert the hobby room into a third bedroom) and 2.5 bathrooms, this Art Deco revival house offers plenty of space for both family living and stylish entertaining.
Let’s take a look inside!
Overview of first floor.
Foyer.
The door on the right leads to the first-floor half-bath.
One side of the half-bath.
Other side of the half-bath.
Moving out of the foyer, we head straight into the living room area of the open-plan area of the house.
The living room area provides a glamorous space for entertaining in.
Next to the living room area is the dining room area.
And next to the dining room area is the kitchen area.
There is a large kitchen island here for quick/casual meals.
And a well-stocked bar in the corner.
Next to the noticeboard, there is a home office.
Small but pretty home office.
The home office looks out onto the backyard.
The kitchen area leads directly out onto the deck.
There is a nice big prep area here for all those BBQs on warm days.
And a comfy spot to eat and chat at.
Highlight of the backyard: a lap pool to cool off in!
The door on the left leads to the garage.
The garage is currently being used as a storage space…
… And a performance space.
The door leads to a mudroom.
Mudroom to keep things neat and tidy.
Back in the open-plan area of the house, the door on the left leads to a pantry (which we won’t take a look at). The door on the right leads to the half-bath (which we have seen earlier).
We will now head upstairs to check out the second floor.

Landing which provides access to all rooms on the second floor.
The large family bathroom on the second floor (please excuse the weird reflection in the mirror -_-‘’).
