AP update
AP's are slowly beginning to take over my brain. More and more so as we are finishing up classes. No one cares, but I'ma say where I am in each AP in the order of how worried I am (starting with not) about the exam.
AP Computer Science - we're already starting to go over Barron's in class. We've been doing GridWorld and free response questions for the last while. I feel like when the test comes, I will be very prepared.
AP Literature - there's not too much that can be done to prepare for this one. We've been writing an increasingly large amount of essays in class and been reading books and stuff all year. I get the full credit out of this one with a three anyways....
AP Government - I feel that most of this stuff has been drilled into my head for years and years. I haven't looked at any AP questions yet (I finished the class last semester), but it shouldn't be terribly hard.
AP Statistics - math isn't too hard. I just need to make sure I review really well right before so I remember everything. When I asked my teacher how much more we had to cover she said about six weeks and then review. We only have six weeks, so that's a little concerning. With my class... we don't ever do anything. But, as long as I get some type of review guide (Barron's, REA, Princeton, whatever) it shouldn't be bad.
AP Macroeconomic - being a semester class, I'm not too far in just yet. I don't think the class is hard at all, but I am told from people who took the test last year the test is super hard. I guess I'll have to make sure I read a review guide and work on AP type questions.
AP Physics B - this class is just a mess. The teacher called out the person sitting next to me and me today. We weren't doing anything at all. We had been talking or singing Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog the whole class. It's hard, and I feel like no amount of anything would do anything for me. But, I found out that even if I do biomedical engineering I need the equivalent of Physics C (with calculus) so that's pretty annoying. She said we were done with everything, but the she was talking about nuclear physics... which we haven't done yet. But either way we're almost done and then we have to go through everything again starting from the beginning, yuck.
AP Music Theory - although out of all of these this one is probably the least applicable to my life. It's supposedly the hardest out of all the APs. There's melodic dictation and sight singing on it. And I mean, if I do poorly, it's not the end of the world. But, sight singing. That means we have to sing. And like, I don't even talk in front of people, but sing? This terrifies me. Also, if I get fucked up too badly during it, I won't be able to take Physics, which is immediately after. We're supposedly done in this class, except for a bit more work with logical progressions, and then we just have to learn how AP questions work.
