If Heaven wasn’t so far away || Simody
Simon wasn’t really sure what he was doing, on the far side of town in a coffee shop he’d never seen, let alone heard of. He’d dropped Emma off a little while ago, though he hadn’t wanted to. Every time she mentioned her father, her body language became a little more guarded, and that alone worried him. He let out a sigh, finally opening the door to the coffee shop and stepping inside. He found a booth and ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream while waiting for the other male to show up. Why was he even here, waiting on him? He didn’t even like him. The hot chocolate was delivered to his table at the same time the older male walked in. Simon couldn’t help the defensive feeling that started in his chest.
