Six Wasserman Clients Named To 2015 All-WBNA First, Second Teams
Six Wasserman clients have been named to the 2015 All-WNBA’s First and Second teams, including First Team selections Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx and Tina Charles of the New York Liberty and Second Team selections Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks, Brittney Griner of the Phoenix Mercury, Epiphanny Prince of the New York Liberty and Courtney Vandersloot of the Chicago Sky.
Moore, a forward who received 37 First Team votes and 188 total points throughout the season, joins the team for her third straight selection to the All-WNBA First Team. Charles, a center who earned 24 First Team votes and 167 total points, was named to the All-WNBA Team for the sixth consecutive year. She ranked second in the league in rebounding and fourth in scoring overall. Charles also finished third in the MVP balloting.
For the Second Team, Phoenix center and 2015 Defensive Player of the Year Brittney Griner joins the team alongside Los Angeles Sparks forward Candace Parker who had a total of 106 points during the season. Liberty guard Epiphanny Prince joins the Second Team with a total of 96 points throughout the season, along with Sky guard Courtney Vandesloot who was ranked first in the league for the highest number of assists, averaging around 5.8 per game.
In honor of being named to the 2015 All-WNBA First and Second Teams, each player will receive a trophy designed by Tiffany & Co., along with $10,000 awarded to the First Team Players and $5,000 awarded to the Second Team Players.
