Last night I was working with a human aggressive dog who went into aggression towards me. He was in his crate and I wanted to put a leash on him and take him out. But he started snarling and snapping at me when I came close. Dexter came over and barked really loud by the dog’s face. Which broke his focus on me and made him stop snarling. It lasted a few seconds, but the dog went back to me and snarling. To which Dexter responded with two loud barks at the side of his face. Again breaking the aggression and focus. Dexter and I both waited patiently without moving until the dog looked back and forth at us, dropped his head and stopped snarling. I then put a leash on the dog and guided him out. I love that dexter always has my back.
