{God provides for whoever He wills without limit.} 24:38 🌈 Thank God for my washer-dryer and dehumidifier. I received the former as a gift 4.5 years ago, and the latter about 3 years ago, by God’s grace. I wasn’t keen because using electricity to power these ‘luxuries’ seemed unkind to the environment. But I have been very grateful.... 🌈 With a ‘large family’ in a ‘small space’, our laundry took so long to dry it developed a dank smell in the process. Alhamdulillah now I tumble-dry a third to half my loads, and we can enjoy the beautiful, subtle scent of Ecover laundry liquid on clean clothes and cloths. 🌈 I still endure separated socks, of course (among other laundry trials). But when I reunite pairs, alhamdulillah they don’t smell like they need to be washed all over again! 🌈 I mostly use the dehumidifier outside the bathroom because our landlord has neglected to repair/replace the fan for most of our stay (we had a cheap replacement that broke after a few months). The mould is growing steadily but I imagine it would be worse without the dehumidifier—alhamdulillah it clears the air of moisture and smells at least. 🌈 So my home ecology including my maternal health is much improved, giving me more energy to focus on the wider environment alhamdulillah. 🌈 I learned how to prune trees and have done a lot over the winter but I seem to have invited pigeons to join the many small birds in the garden. What have I done wrong??! I am hoping it is just that I have exposed a lot of worms and they will leave the garden for the smaller birds who nest here once I lay fresh turf insha’Allah. 🌈 What positivity are you focussing on for your micro-to-macro environment? 🌈 🌈 🌈 #startathome #balanceinlife #motherhoodslens #alhamdulillahfortoday #thankgodtoday #muslimmummy #muslimparenting #hectorhectricity #hectorhectricityandthemissingsocks #homeschoolmum #godprovidesalways #allahistheprovider #laundrylife #pruningtrees #gardeningforbirds #workisneverdone #careforcreation
