#IslamMatters
about a week ago I posted a (Facebook) status explaining myself and the personal things I post that may seem to come from a place of anger and/or hatred... 1. I don't know why I feel the need to explain myself to anyone. Especially to a bunch of people that never acknowledge or pay attention to what I post 99% of the time anyways. 2. I explained that these posts come from a deep place of sadness... So let me make sure to clarify 100% that THIS POST right here that I am about to post is coming from a place of 100% anger and disgust.
1. This is directed at my Muslim brothers that continually insist on using "#BlackLivesMatter" This slogan is not ambiguous. It is 100% directly linked to the black lives matter movement. Why do I have a problem with this? Well apparently some of us have short term memory loss or just selective memory. About the time Sandra Bland or Tamir Rice were MURDERED. which time period it was, Allahu Alim. People of all races and walks of life were outraged, me included, and decided to stand with these people. Shortly there after, members of the Black Lives Matter movement and the African American community were all over the News and took to social media saying "We don’t want white people at our gatherings, You have your own gatherings and protests, this is just for us" (I am paraphrasing).. this my Muslim brothers and sisters is promoting division and Separatism. Is this allowed in Islam?
Allah SWT says in the Quran, "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided."
This statement they made at the time completely contradictory to Islamic teachings....
Rasool Allah (S.A.W.) said in his last sermon,
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action."
2. The Black Lives Matter movement also promotes and endorses other Un-Islamic values... directly from their own "What We Believe" page...
"We affirm the lives of Black queer and trans folks"
"We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead."
"We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women"
"We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise)."
However if you go to google news right now and search "Black Lives Matter, White People" You will now see that they have changed their opinion that they don’t want white peoples support. In fact they are encouraging it now.
So what do we call these kinds of people in Islam?
"The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper will you find for them" (Surah An-Nisaa 4, verse 145)
And yet, none of this is why I am angry... So what is it then? Well now there are other separatist groups that are not just encouraging white peoples participation. They are demanding it. And demanding that we bow down and ask forgiveness for centuries of oppression and slavery. Well let me tell you something... First of all I bow down to no man. nor do I ask forgiveness from any man, especially for something I am not guilty of. I bow down to my creator, and I beg him for forgiveness.. the rest of you can kiss my ass.
This is no different than that Christian "original sin" bulldink.... And I know some of you African American brothers and I know your condition. Some of you have college degrees, good jobs, a stable roof over your heads, nice cars, and beautiful families. So don't give me that bs about how you ALL are oppressed. So is all that a blessing from the Black Lives Matter Movement? Or maybe it was a gift from Allah. You need to start thinking and make up your mind, where is your allegiance? To a separatist group that promotes un-islamic values or your creator and your brothers in faith? And don't think for one second when you are standing before him on the day of resurrection that he is not going to ask you, "who gave you the authority to promote and stand with those groups that are the enemies of the Shareeah?" you better have your answers ready. If I were you I would start working on those answers now.
It is a disgusting state of affairs when you have Muslims accusing other Muslims of being racist. Life is what you make it, whether you are black, white, Asian or otherwise. You have a choice, you can sit around feeling sorry for yourselves and convincing yourselves because of the media in this country that you are oppressed and beneath white people. Or you can get off your butt and do something to better your life. We all have the same kind of brains, the same color blood and the same opportunities. So you can sit around and make excuses that you were indoctrinated with or you can make a life for yourself.
It is possible and I know it is possible. I’ve seen people do it with my own eyes. When I was in grade school in the 3rd grade, one of my classmates was an African American girl. She had a little brother that was super intelligent and super motivated, but the time we were in 6th grade, this kid had long passed us and was in middle school. By the time we got to High School this kid was in college. And Allah knows what he is doing now. He didn’t accomplish what he did by sitting around and accusing white people of being racist and oppressive. He did it with initiative, motivation and hard work.
As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
