 Peter smiled down at the two with a sad look in his eyes. After everything that happened the last few days?  He was just happy to have his family here with him. Most of it anyways...

“Hey Rocket.” The sandy haired Terran crouched down to the small furrball he cared so much about and hoped he wouldn’t mind the gentle pet on the head. 

 “I just-....m’glad you two are here with me.” He murmured quietly. He didn’t know if that sounded out of the blue or not but still...it was true. Cheesy or not.

Too late, Yondu adopted Rocket as his son and Groot as his grankiddo.

   Peter chuckled and rolled his eyes, only pulling the angry little furrball closer with a soft sigh of content. It was nice just to have lazy days like this with the fam. Honestly after the fight with the rouges he could use it. Rubbing his bandaged shoulder, he lent back, finding comfort in the small ball of warmth against his side. “I’m not gonna snore doofus. That’s Drax not me man.”

He regarded the creature for a long while, long enough to convey that he wasn't going to dignify that with an actual, verbal answer; his unamused glare was surely clear enough.

"How good of a shot are you?" He asks, trying to redirect the conversation back to the mission on hand.
