[Freddy's head poked out from behind one of the mats in the play structures; a rousing game of hide-and-seek ( which had lasted for hours now...now that they thought about it, where had the children gone? ) had been interrupted when they sensed the presence of a new kid in the Daycare. Although breaking hide-and-seek protocol was blasphemous, welcoming kids took precedence above all else! What would they or the attendants do if a child felt lost or scared because neither of them had been there to support them?? Besides...]
[...Well, Freddy had been deprived of company for several hours now. That was enough to make anybody's heart break, most of all a Lonely Freddy's, who was practically programmed to feel abandonment more than any other animatronic.]
[Freddy fully hopped out of their hiding spot now, eagerly waddling over to the newcomer -- blue eyes were literally aglow with excitement and wonder as they greeted the boy, voice giggly and boisterous ( despite being as low-pitched and goofy as any classic Freddy's ).]
❝ Oh, oh! Hi there, new friend! ❞ [A tiny paw reached up and wiggled a bit, practically begging to hold the boy's hand; there was no need for it, not really, but Freddy craved even the smallest show of affection!] ❝ You are new, right? Want me to show you around?? When we're done, we can talk and play and sing and make arts and crafts! It'll be so much fun!! ❞ [They weren't much of a competitor with Sun and their antics, but boy, when they got giddy like this...]
