Do you know your Archetype?
Archetypes are very interesting because they help clarify your mission and that famous question: What do you do?
This week, I was introduced to a simple 10-step archetype assessment from allegorystudios.com
The assessment can be found here: http://www.allegorystudios.com/culture-audits/12-brand-archetypes/
Before taking the assessment, I would suggest predicting an archetype for yourself/company. Ask yourself the following questions to help determine an accurate prediction:
1. What is your company mission?
2. What service do you offer?
3. What do people say about your?
Think about what you offer people and how they react to your service. Make your prediction, then take the 10-question assessment to find out if your results match your initial instincts. The information can be re-affirming or re-vealing! It's a great way to learn about yourself and your company. If you don't have a clear focus, this assessment can help pinpoint areas that you need to clarify!
Here are the 12 possible archetypes and their associated companies/people that are linked with that archetype.
My Results for the assessment was as follows:
It's also interesting to take the quiz with your individual character in mind. In this sense, you will be looking at your individual role with customer interaction, how you express your objective to them, and also how you push yourself to achieve your careers goals (i.e. what is your individual career objective).
Think about the factors, and take the assessment! Your results might enlighten you!
