Thoughts on Crossing King Hussein Bridge I
I know I did bungee jump, rode elephants and all kinds of crazy shit but the one thing that gave me sleepless night two weeks prior was this experience. The middle eastern conflict is nothing to mess with. It invades every single endeavor here. You can be a tourist who doesn’t want to see it like my Americans driving in the shuttle with me talking about healthy lifestyle and salads while crossing Allenby Bridge. Or you decide to be someone who stares, soaks in and asks and hurts. I will always choose the latter one.
