Eevee: How well do you take change?

I don’t like change TOO much. I am very much a creature of habit. Once I get stuck in a rut, be it positive or negative, I will not be very receptive to changing it.

Vaporeon: Do you enjoy swimming?

I used to! When I was a kid I was basically part fish, but as I got older I just kinda fell out with it. Probably because I stopped spending time outside and no longer enjoy sunlight.

Flareon: Do you enjoy campfires?

Yes and no. I LOVE fireplaces because I love being warm. I’m iffy about campfires because I’m on the fence about camping. 

Jolteon: Do you fear thunder/lightning?

NO! My dogs are scared of it if it’s too loud, though. So, I extra love thunder/lightning since it drives all the puppies into my lap.

Umbreon: Day or night?

Nighttime. The world is quiet and I can think.

Espeon: What are some strange abilities you have?

I am a walking dictionary. My mom will shout words at me from around the house while she works and I’ll spell them.

Leafeon: Do you enjoy nature?

I do. Nature is pretty and lovely, but I hate it in the spring unless I have a good antihistamine. I have REALLY bad hay fever.

Glaceon: Do you prefer cool or hot temperatures?

I prefer cool weather, because that’s the weather for fires and hot cocoa and curling up under the blanket. I HATE it when it’s hot outside. I do not own a single pair of shorts, and own only one pair of capris.

Sylveon: How do you feel about the new fairy type?

I don’t know? Sylveon sure looks pretty, though! I haven’t played Y far enough to care about Fairy types yet :P I’ve been too caught up in Animal Crossing and Skyrim xD I will finish my Skyrim fic if it fricking kills me it’s not amazing but dammit I’m gonna finish

I cannot tell people how I truly feel. I keep my anger and sadness all bottled up and I show the world my happy side. I wish I could get angry and yell and scream and tell ppl they pissed me off and they disappointed me. But no...I cannot...

13. What is the most insulting thing anyone has said to you?

You are exactly like your father. He's not the best guy...he has loads of flaws and I am almost exactly like him and I didn't even grow up with him. My mother tells me this monthly.

17. Is men’s rights a thing?

Oh yes! At least I believe so. Everyone has rights...every man, woman, child and animal...the planet. We all have rights and I wish we'd live by them...

1) How did you first come to Tumblr? I learned about it while I was still in college (heh). The gal I found it from promptly abandoned her blog and then I didn't have any friends on here and was just following people at random until I found a friend or two.

2) If you could disappear and start a new life, taking only a single suitcase and nobody with you, would you do so? (Pretend that money is not an issue.) *ANGRY CRIES OF DISMAY* NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNope. As upset as I am with the world right now (I have to move from California to Washington in a week or so, I have a billion things to do before then, I lost my well-paying job because of having to move, I'm losing contact with my boyfriend because of it too, none of this is my choice, and I would really rather die than make this move), I still have hope for a happy ending. My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over two years and we've been friends for much longer. We've talked about getting married and it's looking very much like the plan—in about 5-10 years. He has to finish school and then get through grad school, and I have to either find a career or get exceedingly famous so people will give me money. We want to settle down and get married, and that, THAT is all I have ever wanted literally since childhood. I will not give that up.

3) If you HAD to disappear, what would be in your single suitcase? Computer and charger. Snacks. Dog. (She's 10 pounds, I'll put her in my purse and tell her to be quiet.)

4) Favorite place to eat? There's a place near where I used to live called Aloha Sushi. I will never get tired of that place, which is hilarious because I actually don't care for sushi itself. I don't like raw fish! My boyfriend is the same way, we always get sesame chicken and take home the California rolls for his mom.

5) How far would you go to get what you wanted in life? I have seriously thought about murder. Not seriously considered, but seriously thought about. Seems like all good books have people die in them.

6) Are you for or against the death penalty? Why? Ohgodohgodohgod against. Used to be that I was against it for religious reasons, but then I had the epiphany "not sure if God," so I've had to alter it a bit. I'm still against the death penalty, but now it's harder to explain why. While I think it's right for the law to consider taking a life equivalent to murder, I don't think it's a proper form of punishment. It feels too much like condoning murder as long as it's done by an arm of the government. I don't feel like "an eye for an eye" should be applied here or, really, in a lot of cases of crime and punishment.

7) If you could have any job in the world what would you choose to do? Writer. Full stop. Ever since kindergarten and maybe even a little bit of preschool, I've wanted to make books. I was a really early reader, and I wanted to be an author so badly that I wrote a "book" (it was a story I scribbled on 5 or 6 copy paper pages at my dad's office) in first grade. The very first sentence I ever wrote for a story was "I have a story to tell." I will not rest until I have told all I can tell.

8) How do you get to sleep? Do you have rituals that you need to do before bed? I sleep in a bed with my dog. She is teeny and her bedtime is usually 8:30-9pm, so I'm normally up later. I stay up on my computer and she snuggles under my blankets to get them nice and warm for when I come to bed. I'm going to be very sad if she ever decides she doesn't like to snuggle anymore, because I am a massive cuddlebug.

9) Why is it so hard to think of eleven measly questions? Because when you're given a giant grab-bag of EVERYTHING, you just can't think of anything you want to grab.

10) Have you ever been in a physical fight? When? Why? My brother beat me up on my twelfth (I think) birthday because he thought I stole his Gameboy. I got in trouble at my own sleepover for it. He is younger by 4 years.

11) The house is on fire. All humans and animals are safe. What singular item do you grab before racing outside? Computer. I am that kind of person. (Sorry teddy bear. You are a very VERY close second, as you have exactly no GB of memory.)
