harry/luna or harry/ginny

mmm…… Harry/Luna.

Like, I’ve got nothing really against Harry/Ginny as a ship because I can totally see the potential in it? But it’s one of the many things that JKR hardcore botched in the writing, so it’s like…… Sometimes, I see cool headcanons about them — and much like how I don’t care about James/Lily, apart from wanting Harry to exist, I have a vested interest in Harry/Ginny happening for long enough that James Sirius, Lily Luna, and (especially) Alsev/Ruby all exist, because I love them (and Alsev/Ruby in particular has been My Precious™ since July 21st, 2007)

—but as far as canon goes, I like just Harry/Luna more and I find their dynamic much more interesting, personally?

Hey have you read an andriel/foxhole court fanfic called lessons in cartography on Archive of Our Own? It's seriously fucking good and pretty much a sequel to the series, and the writer finished the first fic and is doing a sequel to that story. He/she has pretty much everyone down pat. I reccomend it if you're dealing with foxhole court withdrawal. i'm in the middle of my fourth reread of it now.

Oh and someone is doing a fic from Coach Wymack’s pov on AO3 called Yes,Coach and I did not know I needed this until I started reading it. If you haven’t caught that one yet either, check it out

I haven’t read these no, but I’ll gladly check them out! I haven’t gone looking for fics for this fandom, but I’m most definitely feeling like I need more of those books in my life (I’m planning on rereading them in the summer, I think), and these sound so good, so thank you for the fic recs!! That Wymack fic though. I think I’ve been needing it this entire time without realizing gah

After watching s3 a couple times i think honestly one of my favorite scenes is after Isak came out to his friends, their at the apartment, pregaming, and then Jonas draws Isak out about Even some more, and Jonas just helps Isak out and how proud he is that Isak sends that text, then coaches him on the second text and then bam moments later EVEN IS HERE and the boys are being kicked out and Jonas must internally be all smug about how it fucking worked and then they get kicked out and Isak(cont)

takes a moment, collects himself, determined to apparently be as cool and calm as he was in his texts and it works for a few seconds when he opens that door but then moments later it's all even and him and kissing because FUCK BEING COOL AND CALM. (meanwhile the boys are probably bitching about being kicked out while Jonas is all fucking proud of himself for helping Isak get his man because that's what he did)

i knOW asdjkfakhdsjfh god that scene was so pure????? the boys helping isak text even was the stuff of dreams!!!! no, strike that. it was the stuff of fANFIC????? it was so great and the comedic timing of the frenzy when they boys were scattering to get out was just so incredibly perfect 

and gOD don’t even get me started on the evak moment it was aMAZING. especially after the buildup of the previous two weeks. i think it’s fair to say we all lost our shit that night lmfao

One thing that really got to me about Aaron- (jn that gifset about Robert saying he saved his life, of course he loves him) is that Aaron is so sure that he can't be loved he still doesn't understand that Robert loves him. In that hospital "I'm not easy to love" that line right there says it all. He doesn't think people can love him, and he clearly seems to feel like he can't be loved because he doesn't love himself most of the time. It hurts.

but you’re not wrong!!! it breaks my heart when i think about aaron believing he’s unlovable. especially when it means he can’t believe robert when robert tells him that he loves him; because how can he believe that? not only does he have years of history working against him, but they have a year or so of history working against them. it’s so heartbreaking.

(i have every faith that in time, with help (get them therapy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), robert sticking by him, and continued support from his family, aaron will believe he can be loved!!!!!!!! i have to believe it otherwise i would cry.

Oh yes, the best part is that the first book is free on smashwords (possibly on amazon too?) and the other two are very cheap. They’re self published, so they’re easier to get a hold of as e-books, so you should be able to get it on kindle (though I’m not sure since I downloaded it from smashwords). I feel like everyone who enjoyed the Raven Cycle also enjoys this series, so I think you’ll like it!

Oohhh one of my favorite book series!

It’s basically about this guy named Neil who’s on the run from his father who’s this maffia boss. His mother died like a year prior, so now he’s on his own, and he joined his current school’s exy team (made up game that combines two actual games, but don’t ask me which ones lol). He keeps running and changing his identity, but this is the first time he joins a team, so he gets recruited to this college exy team that’s made up of kids who come from broken homes. He figures he can join and then run later on, because one of the guys on the team is someone from his past and he’s terrified of him recognizing him. That’s basically the plot at the start, but so many things happen throughout the three books and it’s very very good and has got so much representation. Make sure to read up on the trigger warnings though. I wouldn’t say it’s super graphic, but bad things do happen in it
