Instead contracts “ruined” Magia who were either killed by or as Witches and had Labyrinths close behind them as per Kyubey’s contract (which would essentially be terminated/null by then because all the clauses were fulfilled), or Witches who were “purified” back to a semblance of human form

Actively manipulates space-time to “recover” such Magia with further karmic potential with minimal risk of entropy

Contracts typically change abilities somewhat and give their clients different tasks generally meant to help return to normalcy if desired, while maintaining the timelines in the process

Supposedly temporary contracts, although some stay permanent out of their own prospective heroism

Everyone else still presumes the client died prior until they reveal themselves

Has a boss named Madokami to make this all happen

I do actually suck at so many things, as a partner.

I consistently fail at communicating and I don't think I can get better, despite genuinely thinking I'm trying.

I have a short temper and it can blow up quickly, once again despite me genuinely believing that I am working on it.

I struggle setting boundaries and only realised recently that I need to figure out what the fuck they even ARE.

And despite my obvious failings I still reach for love when, all things considered, I objectively do not deserve it. Because I keep repeating the same mistakes and fucking it up for the person I profess to care about.

Is it really this hard? Or is my initial sentiment correct, and I do just suck at these things and I am not able to improve?

Are there any human + alien interactions (as a species, not individuals) where the human race is the long lived one?

I'm currently falling down the Project Hail Mary fandom (not alone✅) and I realize Eridian life spans are far longer. I'm trying to remember any sci fis that aren't aliens live a longer time than humans, and I'm coming up with 0.

I could try being more "original."

I could try leaning further into being more like the media that influenced me.
