Fannar jumps about a foot in the air, clearly having been zoned out — the blush that spreads across the bridge of his nose is definitely noticeable when he looks around.

"Oh, uh — I-I was knitting," Fannar says sheepishly, before he raises a hand to stifle a cough. It's a masculine activity in Iceland (or, was) but it still gets him odd looks on the mainland sometimes; but the meeting is over, and he's got time to kill before his flight later tonight. "I'm, uh, making a sweater."

How in God's name am I friends with so many artists. Whenever I so much as look at the Flight Rising colour wheel I pass out. I wonder if they tease me over it amongst themselves. Would certainly be in their right!

Maybe I ought try drawing more. To give 'em more to cackle about in private of course. Max wouldn't rib me too badly if I asked for some pointers on where I ought to start, would he? No-- that won't do, I need him to think I'm cool... and Vik is right out, I'm never asking a favour of him ever in my life.
