ASOIAF FANCASTING --> EVERY NAMED FEMALE CHARACTER ABOVE THE AGE OF FIVE, PART VIII

Asha Greyjoy (b. 276 AC): Daughter of Lord Balon Greyjoy and his oldest surviving child. Despite the fact that his legal heir, his son Theon, still lives, Balon considers Asha his chosen heir. She captains her own ship, commands men in battle, and has had many lovers. Currently she is a captive of Stannis Baratheon whilst he marches on Winterfell to oust Ramsay Snow. Fancast: Lily Allen.

Ashara Dayne (c. 263-283 AC): Beautiful lady of House Dayne and lady-in-waiting to Princess Elia Martell, wife of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen. She was the sister of Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning. She committed suicide after the end of Robert's Rebellion, although it is not known why. Rumour has it that she may have been Eddard Stark's lover and even the mother of his bastard son, Jon Snow. Fancast: Saadet Aksoy.

Assadora of Ibben (main series era): An Ibbenese prostitute at the Happy Port in Braavos. Fancast: Margaret-Mary Hollins.

Baela Targaryen (b. 116 AC): Daughter of Prince Daemon Targaryen and his second wife, Lady Laena Velaryon. She had a twin sister, Rhaena, and was the older half-sister of Aegon III and Viserys II. She rode the dragon Moondancer. When Aegon II took Dragonstone during the Dance of the Dragons, Baela attacked him with her smaller, younger dragon. Although Moondancer died and she was gravely injured, Baela not only survived but also inflicted a deadly wound upon Sunfyre, Aegon's dragon, as well as serious burn wounds and broken bones upon Aegon himself. After the Dance, she defied the will of Aegon III's regents by marrying her cousin, Lord Alyn Velaryon, who had become Lord of the Tides and Head of House Velaryon. She had at least one child, Laena, with him. Fancast: Gaia Weiss.

Barba Bolton (b. approx. 117 AC): A northern maid who attended the Maiden's Day Ball in King's Landing. This ball was held to make Aegon III choose a new wife. She told the king to send her home with food, for it was a hard winter and people were starving in the North. Fancast: Lucy Griffiths.

Barba Bracken (b. 155 AC): Mistress of King Aegon the Unworthy and mother of his bastard son Aegor Rivers. She had been a lady companion to King Baelor the Blessed's sisters whilst they were imprisoned in the Maidenvault. Once Aegon became king, he made Barba's father his Hand and took Barba openly as his mistress. However, Aegon's son Daeron and brother Aemon managed to get Barba sent back to Stone Hedge after her father spoke openly of having her married to the king. Fancast: Marta Gastini.

Barbara Bracken (main series era): Eldest daughter of Lord Jonos Bracken of Stone Hedge. Fancast: Jenna Coleman.

Barbrey Ryswell (b. approx. 262 AC): The younger daughter of Lord Rodrik Ryswell of the Rills, and the widow of Lord Willam Dustin of Barrowton. Barbrey was in love with Brandon Stark, the eldest son of Lord Rickard Stark, and hoped to marry him, but he was betrothed to Catelyn Tully instead. Lord Willam rode to war with Eddard Stark during Robert's Rebellion, against Barbrey's wishes, and was killed at the Tower of Joy. Barbrey loathes the Starks (because she could never be one of them) and supports House Bolton as the new Wardens of the North after the fall of the Starks. Fancast: Frances O'Connor.

Barsena Blackhair (d. 300 AC): A female pit fighter in Meereen. When the fighting pits of Meereen are reopened to celebrate Queen Daenerys's marriage to Hizdahr zo Loraq, Barsena is killed by a boar during combat. Fancast: Cynthia Addai-Robinson.

Bathi Ma Lo (Scarlet Empire of Yi Ti, after the Long Night): The wife of God-Emperor Lo Doq. She may have been the true power behind the throne during his long and wise reign of thirty years, since he was known to be physically disabled, and may have been mentally disabled as well. Helya (main series era): A bentback old woman, the steward of Pyke in the Iron Islands. Fancast: Geraldine McEwan.

Henrietta Woodhull (b. approx. 120 AC): The daughter of a landed knight of the Paps, she was presented as a marriage candidate for King Aegon III at the Maiden's Day Ball of 133 AC. She was the last to be presented to the king, and was one of a few candidates to be rushed past him after he had already been presented with the girl who would become his bride, Daenaera Velaryon. Fancast: Larisa Oleynik.

Hildy (main series era): Lover of Lord Jonos Bracken, before that the lover of a sworn sword of Lord Blackwood. Fancast: Nicole Whippy.

Holly (284-300 AC): A wildling spearwife who accompanies Mance Rayder, in the disguise of a singer travelling with six female companions, to Winterfell to rescue Arya Stark, who is supposed to be in the hands of the Boltons. She is shot by the Boltons' watchmen as Theon and "Arya" (actually Jeyne Poole, the Stark girls' childhood companion) escape. Fancast: Hannah Sharp.

Irri (b. 284 AC): One of Daenerys Targaryen's Dothraki handmaids, formerly daughter of a khal who was slain by Drogo. She stays with Daenerys after Drogo's death and journeys with her as far as Meereen. Fancast: Lesley-Ann Brandt.

Jaehaera Targaryen (123-133 AC): Daughter of King Aegon II and his wife Helaena Targaryen. After the death of her parents, siblings and uncles during the Dance of the Dragons, she was married to the only remaining candidate for the throne, Aegon III. However, two years later, she apparently threw herself out of her window onto the spikes of the dry moat surrounding Maegor's Holdfast. The King's Hand, Lord Unwin Peake, may in fact have been responsible for her death, as he immediately tried to arrange for Aegon to marry his daughter Myrielle. Fancast: Eleanor Worthington-Cox.

Jaenara Belaerys (era of Valyrian supremacy): A Valyrian dragonrider who attempted to reach the tip of the great southern continent, Sothoryos, on the back of her dragon Terrax. She returned to Valyria after three years, claiming that she had only encountered endless jungle and mountain. Fancast: Zoe Kravitz.

Janna Tyrell (b. approx. 270 AC): Youngest daughter of Lord Luthor Tyrell and his wife Olenna. She is married to Ser Jon Fossoway and accompanies her niece Margaery to King's Landing when it is arranged that she will wed the king. Fancast: Scarlett Johansson.

Janyce Hunter (main series era): Wife of Edwyn Frey, whose father, Ryman, is the heir to the Twins after the death of his grandfather Stevron. They have a young daughter, Walda, but it is rumoured that she is truly the daughter of Black Walder, Edwyn's brother. Fancast: Phoebe Dynevor.

Jayde (main series era): One of the girls at Chataya's brothel, an upmarket establishment that caters to many nobles in King's Landing. Fancast: Aifric O'Donnell.

Gwyneth Yronwood (b. 287 AC): Youngest daughter of Lord Anders Yronwood of Yronwood. She hopes to marry Quentyn Martell, son of the Prince of Dorne, once she has flowered. Fancast: Willow Shields.

Gysella Goodbrother (b. approx. 278 AC): One of the twelve daughters of Lord Gorold Goodbrother of Hammerhorn in the Iron Islands. Fancast: Maisy McLeod-Riera.

Hali (d. 298 AC): Spearwife who accosts Bran Stark in the godswood along with Osha and two deserters from the Night's Watch. She is slain by Bran's direwolf, Summer. Fancast: Natasha Culzac.

Hanna Harroway (d. 44 AC): Sister of Queen Alys Harroway, one of the wives of Maegor the Cruel. She was slain by Maegor's Kingsguard trying to protect her sister from Maegor's wrath following accusations of the queen's infidelity. Fancast: Sezgi Sena Akay.

Harma Dogshead (d. 300 AC): One of the captains in Mance Rayder's army, she is known for hating dogs and kills one every fortnight for a new banner. She is killed in the battle against Stannis Baratheon's forces at the Wall. Fancast: Natalia Tena.

Goodwife Harra (d. 299 AC): One of the servants of Lady Shella Whent's household in Harrenhal. She is later executed by Roose Bolton after he takes Harrenhal during the War of the Five Kings, for telling the other servants to serve the Lannister forces. Fancast: Donogh Rees.

Hazel Harte (c. 110-132 AC): Wife of Daeron Velaryon, grandnephew of Corlys Velaryon of Driftmark. Her only child, Daenaera Velaryon, married King Aegon III following her appearance at the Maiden's Day Ball of 133 AC. Fancast: Elizabeth Lail.

Helaena Targaryen (109-130 AC): Only daughter of King Viserys I and his second wife, Alicent Hightower. She was married to her older brother, who later seized the throne as Aegon II, and had three children with him. Both of her sons were cruelly slaughtered during the Dance of the Dragons, and she committed suicide by jumping from her window in Maegor's Holdfast. The very night she died, the smallfolk of King's Landing rose in riot against Queen Rhaenyra and the "black" faction of the Dance, thinking that she had been murdered and demanding justice for her and her sons. Helicent Uffering (b. approx. 171 AC): Sister of Ser Rolland Uffering, who was the fourth husband of Lady Rohanne Webber of Coldmoat. She came with him to Coldmoat and remained there after his death. Fancast: Nicola Coughlan.

Helly (main series era): A serving girl at the Peach in Stoney Sept in the Riverlands. Fancast: Szandra Asztalos.

ASOIAF FANCASTING --> EVERY NAMED FEMALE CHARACTER ABOVE THE AGE OF FIVE, PART VII

Argella Durrandon (b. approx. 20 BC): Daughter of the last Storm King, Argilac the Arrogant. After he was killed in battle by Orys Baratheon, she declared herself the new Storm Queen, but was betrayed by her own garrison and delivered bound and gagged to the enemy. She then surrendered her kingdom to Aegon the Conqueror and married Orys, founding House Baratheon. Fancast: Amy Bailey.

Arianne Martell (b. 276 AC): The oldest child and heir of Prince Doran Martell. At the age of fourteen, she uncovers what she thinks is her father's plan to disinherit her in favour of her younger brother Quentyn. This leads her to attempt to crown Myrcella Baratheon as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms when her older brother Joffrey dies, so that she will replace her father in the ensuing conflict with the Iron Throne. However, this plan fails and Doran finally shares his plans for a Targaryen restoration with her in the aftermath. Arianne is currently on her way to meet the supposed Aegon, son of Rhaegar Targaryen who miraculously survived the sack of King's Landing. Fancast: Morena Baccarin.

Arra Norrey (c. 110-128 AC): Childhood companion and first wife of Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell. She died giving birth to his first son, Rickon. Fancast: Natalie Portman.

Arrana Stark (b. approx 180 AC): Eldest daughter of Serena Stark and her husband Edric Stark, who was also her uncle. Serena was the younger daughter of Rickon Stark, who was the heir to Winterfell before his death, but none of Rickon's descendants inherited Winterfell. Arrana's older twin brothers, Cregard and Torrhen, probably died young. Arrana was married to Osric Umber, Lord of the Last Hearth, and bore his children. Fancast: Anna Walton.

Arsa Stark (b. approx. 190 AC): Daughter of Lord Brandon Stark, youngest son of Cregan Stark, and his wife Alys Karstark. She had two full older brothers as well as a bastard brother. Fancast: Caren Pistorius.

Arwen Upcliff (era of Andal conquest): Her marriage to Alester II Arryn, King of Mountain and Vale, brought the Witch Isle into his kingdom. Fancast: Camilla Rutherford.

Arwyn Frey (b. 285 AC): Daughter of Lord Walder Frey by Annara Farring. She is one of the Frey maidens presented to King Robb. Fancast: Jordon Stevens.

Arwyn Oakheart (b. approx. 240 AC): Lady of Old Oak and Head of House Oakheart. She is the mother of Arys Oakheart, member of the Kingsguard. She initially supports Renly Baratheon's claim to the Iron Throne after the death of King Robert, but when he dies, she goes along with House Tyrell's support of King Joffrey. Fancast: Cate Blanchett.

Arya Flint (b. approx. 210 AC): Wife of Rodrik Stark, known as the Wandering Wolf, and mother to two daughters. Her younger daughter Lyarra married Lord Rickard Stark, her cousin, and bore the children Brandon, Eddard, Lyanna and Benjen. Eddard named his second daughter after her. Fancast: Hailee Steinfeld.

Arya Stark (b. 289 AC): Second daughter and third child of Lord Eddard Stark and his wife, Catelyn Tully. When Eddard is executed in King's Landing, she goes missing. She attempts to reach her remaining family, but is first captured by Gregor Clegane's men and then her mother and brother Robb are slaughtered by the Freys at the Red Wedding. She then takes a ship to Braavos and becomes an acolyte of the Faceless Men, training to become an assassin. Meanwhile the Lannister-Bolton alliance claim to have found her, and send the false Arya Stark to the North to marry Ramsay Bolton (originally Snow) in order to secure House Bolton's hold over the North. Cyrelle Tarbeck (b. 241 AC): Daughter of Lady Ellyn Reyne and her second husband, Walderan Tarbeck. She had an older sister, Rohanne, and a younger brother, Tion. When House Reyne and Tarbeck were crushed by Tywin Lannister, Cyrelle's brother, husband and father were all killed. Cyrelle and her sister were sent to the silent sisters. Fancast: Riley Keough.

Cyrenna Swann (c. 230-255 AC): Second wife of Lord Walder Frey and mother to two sons. Fancast: Lára Jóhanna Jónsdóttir.

Dacey Mormont (c. 272-299 AC): Eldest daughter and heir of Lady Maege Mormont of Bear Island. She is an accomplished warrior and rides with King Robb Stark in the War of the Five Kings. She is murdered by House Frey at the Red Wedding. Fancast: Natalie Hoflin.

Daella Targaryen (64-82 AC): Fourth-born daughter of Jaehaerys I and Good Queen Alysanne. She was delicate and shy, and was bullied by her younger sister Saera. Many eligible lords and sons of lords courted her, but in the end she chose to wed Lord Rodrik Arryn, who was more than twice her age, but a gentle man who would take care of her. Unfortunately, Daella fell pregnant and died shortly after delivering a healthy baby girl, Aemma. Fancast: Elle Fanning.

Daella Targaryen (b. 199 AC): Eldest daughter of Prince Maekar Targaryen, who would later become king as Maekar I, and his wife Dyanna Dayne. Her mother died when she was under 10. She had four brothers, including Aegon the Unlikely, and one sister, Rhae. Fancast: Therica Wilson-Read.

Daena (main series era): A mummer at the Gate in Braavos. Fancast: Jodelle Ferland.

Daena Targaryen (c. 145-175 AC): Eldest daughter of King Aegon III and his wife Daenaera Velaryon. Her two elder brothers, Daeron and Baelor, became kings consecutively after her father's death. She was married to Baelor at the age of fifteen, but he refused to consummate the marriage. When Daeron was killed in Dorne and Baelor became king, he annulled their marriage and locked Daena away in the Maidenvault with her two younger sisters, so that they would not tempt any man. Daena hated this unjust imprisonment and became more and more defiant, finally giving birth to a bastard son that turned out to be fathered by her cousin Aegon. Baelor, aghast, fasted for forty days after the boy's birth and eventually collapsed and died. Many thought that Daena, being Aegon III's oldest surviving child, would become queen, but she was without political support during her imprisonment and the throne passed to her uncle Viserys instead. Daena's son would go on to become Daemon Blackfyre, who sought a crown for himself and caused the ruinous Blackfyre Rebellions. Fancast: Ellen Hollman.

Daenaera Velaryon (b. 127 AC): Second wife and queen of Aegon III and mother to five children. She was presented to Aegon at the age of six at the Maiden's Day Ball after the death of his first wife, Jaehaera. They were wed later that year, but their first child was not born until ten years later. Fancast: Alicia Agneson.

Daenerys Targaryen (53-60 AC): Eldest daughter and first child to survive infancy of Jaehaerys I and Good Queen Alysanne. She died of the Shivers when she was no more than seven. Fancast: Olivia Tennet.

Daenerys Targaryen (b. 172 AC): Only legitimate daughter of Aegon the Unworthy and his wife, Queen Naerys. At the time of her birth, her elder brother Daeron was already married and had a son. Daeron had been married to Princess Myriah Martell as part of the peace pact between Baelor I and Dorne. When Daenerys was fifteen, she was married to Maron Martell, the ruling prince of Dorne. With this marriage, Dorne was finally brought into the Seven Kingdoms under Targaryen rule. It was rumoured that Daenerys had been in love with her bastard half-brother, Daemon Blackfyre, and that her marriage to Maron instigated the First Blackfyre Rebellion, but Daenerys and Maron were, by all accounts, happy together. Maron built the Water Gardens as a gift for Daenerys, where their children could play in the summer heat along with the children of other nobles. It was Daenerys who declared that the children of the servants could play there too, starting a tradition that continues to this day. Fancast: Sinja Dieks.

ASOIAF FANCASTING –> EVERY NAMED FEMALE CHARACTER ABOVE THE AGE OF FIVE, PART XXII

Falyse Stokeworth (264-300 AC): Oldest daughter and heir of Lady Tanda Stokeworth. She is childless despite being married to Ser Balman Byrch for around 10 years. When Ser Bronn of the Blackwater marries her younger sister, Lollys, she plots with Queen Cersei to eliminate him. However, after her husband is killed in a duel against Bronn, Cersei gives her to Maester Qyburn for his experiments to keep the plot a secret. Fancast: Tara Fitzgerald.

Fern (main series era): A peasant woman of Lambswold in the Riverlands. Sharna the innkeep helps her birth her baby. Fancast: Jacqueline Emerson.

Ferny (main series era): One of Craster's older wives. She is one of the wives who approach Sam to flee with Gilly and her newborn son. Fancast: Mia Farrow.

Florence Fossoway (b. approx. 30 AC): Wife of Lord Martyn Tyrell of Highgarden. After her marriage, she took control of Highgarden's accounts and increased its incomes by a third. Her capability led to her husband being appointed as master of coin for King Jaehaerys I after the death of his Pentoshi master-of-coin Rego Draz. Fancast: Lisa Chappell.

Floris Baratheon (118-134 AC): Youngest daughter of Lord Borros Baratheon and his wife, Elenda Caron. She was married to Lord Thaddeus Rowan, who became a member of Aegon III's small council and later his Hand, but she died in childbirth within two years of the marriage. Fancast: Annabel Scholey.

Florys the Fox (Age of Heroes): Legendary daughter of Garth Greenhand, founder-king of the Reach. She kept three husbands, each of them ignorant of the others' existence. Her sons originated the noble houses of Florent, Ball, and Peake. Fancast: Lily Cole.

Frenya (d. 300): One of the six wildling spearwives who accompanies Mance Rayder to Winterfell to rescue Arya Stark from Ramsay Snow. She is presumably killed in the fighting whilst the presumed Arya escapes with Theon Greyjoy. Fancast: Charisma Carpenter.

Frynne (b. approx. 276 AC): The daughter of a smith, she was a Dornish girl who played with Arianne Martell in the Water Gardens when she was a girl. Fancast: Ella Robson.

Gael Targaryen (80-99 AC): Thirteenth and last child of King Jaehaerys I and Good Queen Alysanne. She was her mother's constant companion, bringing comfort to her after her other daughters had been lost. However, she was seduced and impregnated by a traveling singer, and committed suicide in her grief after her son was stillborn. Queen Alysanne herself died within the year afterwards. Galazza Galare (b. approx. 217 AC): High priestess of the Temple of the Graces in Meereen, she is known as the Green Grace. When Daenerys Targaryen settles in Meereen to rule, she becomes a valuable source of counsel. Daenerys marries Hizdahr zo Loraq at her suggestion. Fancast: Shabana Azmi.

Elyn Norridge (b. approx. 250 AC): Widow of Ser Luthor Tyrell, nephew of Lord Luthor Tyrell and cousin to Mace, the current Lord of Highgarden. She has three children and is the grandmother of Lady Elinor Tyrell, who accompanies Queen Margaery to King's Landing. Fancast: Emma Thompson.

Elys Arryn (b. 61 AC): Eldest child of Lord Rodrik Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie, and his first wife. After the death of Elys's mother, Lord Rodrik married the Targaryen princess Daella, daughter of King Jaehaerys and Good Queen Alysanne. She was three years younger than Elys, who despised her. Fancast: Evangeline Lilly.

Emma (b. approx. 260 AC): A server at the Quill and Tankard, a tavern in Oldtown. She has a young daughter, Rosey, whose maidenhead she is selling for a golden dragon. Fancast: Mandy McMullin.

Emphyria Vance (main series era): Third and youngest daughter of Ser Karyl Vance of Wayfarer's Rest, who becomes Lord Vance after the death of his father in the battle below the Golden Tooth during the War of Five Kings. Fancast: Ivy Latimer.

Eroeh (c. 284-298 AC): A Lhazareen girl whose settlement is attacked by Khal Drogo. Daenerys takes Eroeh as a slave, along with many other women, to protect her from further rape and injury. However, when Khal Drogo dies of a wound sustained during the duel with Khal Ogo, Eroeh is raped and murdered by Mago, now a bloodrider to the new Khal Jhaqo. Daenerys swears that she will avenge Eroeh. Fancast: Kiawentiio.

Esgred (main series era): The mother of Sigrin, a shipwright of the Iron Islands. He named the first ship he built after her. Asha Greyjoy takes this name in disguise to meet her brother Theon, to see what kind of man he has become after returning to the Iron Islands after nearly ten years. Fancast: Gina McKee.

Essie (c. 110-131 AC): A whore who worked at the House of Kisses in King's Landing during the Dance of the Dragons. In the wake of Queen Rhaenyra's flight from the city, she declared her four-year-old son, Gaemon, to be a bastard son of Aegon II and set him up as king in the brothel with the help of her Dornish paramour, Sylvenna Sand. When Aegon II reclaimed the city, Essie and Sylvenna were hanged. Gaemon was made a whipping boy and companion to the boy king Aegon III after Aegon II was poisoned. Fancast: Chiara Mastalli.

Ezzara (main series era): A Ghiscari priestess of Meereen, one of the Blue Graces who specialize in healing. She treats the first victim of the bloody flux in Meereen. Fancast: Adjoa Andoh.

Falena Stokeworth (b. 125 AC): A noblewoman of House Stokeworth famed for being the first mistress of Aegon IV Targaryen. She was brought to court as a little girl at the beginning of Aegon III's reign to be a companion to Aegon's wife Jaehaera. After Queen Jaehaera's death, she would have attended the Maiden's Day Ball held for Aegon to choose a new bride, but some time before the ball, she fell down the serpentine steps of the Red Keep and broke her leg. Later on, when she was in her twenties, she became the first mistress of the future Aegon IV, who was then only the son of Prince Viserys, brother of Aegon III. She was 10 years older than him. When Prince Viserys found out about the affair, he wed Falena to the master-at-arms in the Red Keep, Ser Lucas Lothston, and persuaded King Aegon to make Ser Lucas the Lord of Harrenhal, thereby removing Falena from court. However, Prince Aegon paid many visits to Harrenhal in the following 2 years. When Falena gave birth to a daughter, Jeyne Lothston, over 10 years later, some suspected that Aegon was the father rather than Falena's husband. Six years after Aegon finally became king, Falena and her husband, who was made the King's Hand, returned to court with the fourteen-year-old Jeyne, who became Aegon's eighth mistress. However, the king soon infected Jeyne with a pox and the Lothstons were banished from court again, Lucas serving less than a year as Hand. Fancast: Deborah Ann Woll.

Falia Flowers (b. approx. 282 AC): Bastard daughter of Lord Humfrey Hewett, a nobleman of the Shields. She was made a servant for her trueborn half-sisters and stepmother, but after Lord Hewett's castle is taken by Euron Greyjoy in his raid on the Shields, Falia becomes his salt wife and receives rich gifts from him. However, a few months later, a pregnant Falia is to be sacrificed for an unknown purpose alongside Euron's brother Aeron, her tongue cut out. Fancast: Danielle Galligan.

ASOIAF FANCASTING --> EVERY NAMED FEMALE CHARACTER ABOVE THE AGE OF FIVE, PART V

Alysanne Stark (b. approx. 200 AC): Younger daughter of Lord Beron Stark of Winterfell and his lady wife, Lorra Royce. Beron was a grandson of Lord Cregan Stark through his father Brandon, Cregan's youngest child. Fancast: Siena Agudong.

Alysanne Targaryen (36-100 AC): Daughter of King Aenys I and wife and queen to her brother Jaehaerys I. She was a dragonrider and used her influence to pass several new laws, including the abolition of the First Night as well as the construction of the system which served the inhabitants of King's Landing clean water. She bore 13 children but only her son Vaegon and daughter Saera (who was estranged from the family) outlived her. Fancast: Jodie Comer.

Alysanne Waters (b. 155 AC): Bastard daughter of King Aegon IV Targaryen and his mistress Megette (known as Merry Meg). She was born before Aegon became king, and his father, the then-Prince Viserys, arranged for her and her three younger sisters to be trained as septas. Fancast: Audrey Tautou.

Alyse Ladybright (main series era): The lord treasurer of Sunspear, seat of the Martells in Dorne. Fancast: Gabriela Duarte.

Alyssa Arryn (era of Andal conquest): Legendary member of House Arryn who did not shed a tear when her husband, brothers and children were all murdered. The gods decreed that she would know no peace until her tears watered the Vale. The waterfall named for her, Alyssa's Tears, does not reach the Vale below the Giant's Lance. Fancast: Amy Lee.

Alyssa Blackwood (c. 245-275 AC): Fourth wife of Lord Walder Frey of the Twins and mother of five of his children. Fancast: Adrienne Wilkinson.

Alyssa Royce (b. approx. 120 AC): A lady of House Royce of Runestone, she was presented to King Aegon III at the Maiden's Day Ball which was held in order for him to choose a new wife. Fancast: Mary-Charles Jones.

Alyssa Targaryen (60-84 AC): Second daughter of King Jaehaerys I and Good Queen Alysanne. She gave birth to three sons by her brother-husband Baelon, but only two survived. Her eldest son became king as Viserys I, and his brother Daemon briefly held the position of Prince-Consort whilst his wife Rhaenyra sat the Iron Throne. Fancast: Kristy Dawn Dinsmore.

Alyssa Velaryon (7-54 AC): Daughter of Aethan Velaryon, who was master of ships for Aegon the Conqueror, and wife and queen to Aegon's son Aenys I. Her third and youngest son, Jaehaerys, became king after the death of Maegor the Cruel. Fancast: Viva Bianca.

Alyx Frey (b. 282 AC): Granddaughter of Lord Walder Frey of the Crossing. She is one of the Frey maidens whom King Robb might have married, according to the agreement he made with Lord Walder. Fancast: Roxanne McKee.
