Would you rather live with your parents or your siblings?
Mmmmmm, hard choice. At this point in time, my parents. I have two younger brothers and one of them is still at that worshiping-the-older-siblings stage and is really easy to get along with because he's a geek, I'm a geek. But my other brother is really obsessively clean, bossy and has (at least I think) no respect for me. He's in those real sullen teenage years so I think he'll grow out of it but its shit-loads easier with my parents. My parents are really cool. They think I'm a massive dork but they accept that I'm (technically) an adult so I can do what I want and so long as I pull my weight around the house and not do anything illegal, they're pretty chill.
What fandom is all over your dash that you’re not a part of
Ummmmm used to be Hannibal, but I decided to watch it because there was so much on my dash. Teen Wolf technically. I've seen S1 and 2 but I want to wait until S3 has finished airing before watching because S1 and 2 were infuriatingly slow. Homestuck and Hetailia show up every now and then and I'm not into either of those but they're not all over my dash. So nothing technically :p
Which fantasy world would you like to live in?
Harry Potter, easy. Just about any other world I would die, either due to my stupidity or my co-ordination, and if I lived in the Doctor Who fantasy world and /somehow/ managed to get picked as a companion it would have to end at some point. Whereas if I was a witch, it's after Voldemort's death and its not like it stops :p
How are you, today?
Tired, from getting up at 7, and stressed, because I have an exam in two days.
If child you looked at you now, how would he/she feel?
Most children like me. I work at an OSHC (outside school hours care, basically child care but for school kids) and the kids there know I'm a massive dork but usually like me enough. Kids I've never met before tend to stare and laugh at (in that adorable way that kids do when they're interested) me because of my hair.
Would you rather be able to see or hear? Why?
I'd prefer to be able to do both :p but if I had to pick I'd say.....I CAN'T PICK T_T
I'd prefer to be able to hear so I can still listen to music and hear people talk and I'd still technically be able to read (thanks to braille). But I wouldn't be able to see movies or season 3 of Sherlock or my kids faces or drive again. And it would make teaching maths and physics rather hard.
But on the other hand if I could see and not hear, I'd have to learn sign language (which I want to anyway) but it would always be a struggle to communicate with people and a constant danger that I wouldn't be able to hear shouting or car horns or stuff like that. Not to mention I'd never be able to listen to music again. Sure I could feel the vibrations but its not the same. And again it'd be pretty hard to teach maths and physics.
What is the best gift you ever got as a kid?
When I was three, I didn't really understand what brothers or sisters were. So when my brother was born (6 days before my 3rd birthday) I just thought he was an early birthday present....
Do you prefer writing or drawing?
Writing. I can't draw for shit. Plus I can say so much more with words than I ever could with pictures (I don't know if that's different for other people, that's just what I find)
Which character do you identify yourself the most? Why?
Hermione. When I was growing up I was a real nerd and I loved to read books (especially Harry Potter) and in the early books I really connected with her. I didn't have a lot of friends and when I did, it tended to only be one or two close friends (and usually I thought we were closer than we actually were) but I always thought that if Hermione could grow up to do such /fantastic/ things so could I.
Who’s your celebrity crush?
ahahahHAHAH BAHAHAHA
Let's not get into that :p
What is the moment of your life when of felt most disappointed?
When my father didn't come to my first Catholic Schools Music Festival (this thing where every catholic school has a choir in year 5, 6 and 7 and at the end of the year we perform all together at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre). He said he'd try but this was a couple of years after my parents got divorced and he said he couldn't because my mum would be there. This was the first real time that I remember him letting me down.
