Oh I absolutely love the lyrical, folksy sound of this! He reminds me a little of Gregory Alan Isakov, with a bit of harmonies reminiscent of The Paper Kites and maybe even the Civil Wars? The lyrics are super beautiful and poetic too. I love this, thanks for the recommendation!

I'm very in love with the OBC, but for the purpose of this exercise, I'm going to try to not use them, even though I think they could all reprise their roles except for maybe nicole (I'm just gonna do the principal roles, bc if I do ensemble ... I will be thinking of performers all night, but the Anastasia ensemble is still very loved and very important)

SLEEPOVER FRIDAY! i was listening to rachmaninoff's vespers/all night vigil and thinking about the choir director OC we created for dear valery. good times. :)
